Pilot boff seating

I Downloaded all the Intel Ones, Then I Changed the color on the Right Side.

Problem I have it that when I try and set the Boff Layout in the Sidebar, I get an error Message, saying they are not Viable Options. Pilot boffs are not in That Pool. Any Idea how to Add them? The Error Message : http://imgur.com/vsKgQkQ

Yeah the error is likely my fault. I added them to the template but i didnt add -pilot at first. Even though now the icon actually shows up the error is still there. I suspect once the site does it caching tonight it will clear up. As for the icons. What tool did you use to just do the right side. I tried it but it never worked but then again when it comes to GIMP2 or Photoshop or w/e I am clueless. You should go head and do all the pilot ones just to get it out of the way. Nice. I've added them all in. Now if your feeling ambitious.....You can do the same for the command icons. There are some in there but there are none for tactical, not all the engineering and science ones are done, and the science ones do not match the same color as the engineering one so they probably need to be updated to match colors..... course I'd say the engineering-command color is the better option. I'd do it myself but I dont seem to have the ability/skill to make the icons correctly =P. Asanad (talk) 00:29, 7 May 2015 (UTC)

I believe so. I dont see anything wrong with the template and the pilot seat is showing up so it should be good. We will see tomorrow Asanad (talk) 03:05, 7 May 2015 (UTC)

PS: If you can build the Pages in the right locations, I can start working on the Fed Pilot Ships.

Just Get the Pages Created and Added to the Ship Navs, and I can start Building the Pages.

Updated Color scheme May 6 2015

Looks good. My only comment is this more maroon color kind of blends into the default tactical color when the icons are smaller, at least on my screen. I tried 4 Different Colors, Problem is that with the Other Specs, the devs more or less chose a Single Color to Represent it, in all the Boff icons. Intel has Purple, Pilot has Light Blue. Command though doesn't have one color. They used this Rainbowey Effect of 3 Colors, you guessed it... Red, Blue, and Orange... I for the life of me could not find a single shade that didn't conflict with one of the careers. I'm gonna try Something Tomorrow, I don't know if it will work, but if it does it should fix all this.  :) Primar13 (talk) 04:35, 7 May 2015 (UTC)

Yeah I hear ya. Devs never make our job here on the wiki easy. Though I liked the original orange color on the commander engineering-command icon that some guy uploaded. Of course I never saw it on the tactical version but with it being orangish it should stand out. Also your ltcmdr-sci-cmd icon doesnt look like it was completely finished at the top. I just saw your gradient upload. They look pretty good IMO. I'm curious to see what they will look like next to the orange of engineering once the site catches up with us. Asanad (talk) 05:12, 7 May 2015 (UTC)

One last thing for the night. I forgot about the properties this shiptypeinfo template uses. Pilot is now in there and the errors are gone. Trying to remember how all this stuff works after taking 1/2 a year off makes my brain hurt =P Asanad (talk) 08:11, 7 May 2015 (UTC)

Updated them again, with Logos that look better. I had to keep them white, cause they just looked weird, when they were clear. Anyone who has a problem can rebuild them themselves

For the Life of me, I could not find a good Vector for them on the Internet, I asked Thomas the Cat (DEV) and he said that CBS Owned the Logos, and thats why they were hard to find. Primar13 (talk) 19:52, 7 May 2015 (UTC)

I added the Icarus Page. for some reason, the .png on my images get renamed to PNG by the wiki when I upload... No idea why, so don't anyone get mad.

Also once the other pages get added I will fill in the "Varients Section"

So Far the Boffs are working... YAY!!

PS any idea why the Link in the ship nav is still Red... will that change in time?
