Removed NPCs[]

Hey, thanks for all your work! I have a question: Did you check whether those NPCs you recently marked with the historical archive-template are really completely gone, or are they merely not interactible anymore? In the latter case, the templates need to be removed again, and the best would be to add a respective note, as I have done for all ESD-NPCs, e.g., Lt. Cmdr. Ophlim. --Akirasensei (talk) 12:14, 16 January 2015 (UTC)

  • That's fair - I can totally do that over the next couple of days. Jeffel82 (talk) 13:45, 16 January 2015 (UTC)

General formatting[]

Hey there,

please be more careful wrt the formatting of articles. The "historical"-template should not be used for every single bit of information pertaining to a former game feature etc.. Such information can be much better displayed in the "Notes" section of an article. Furthermore, there is no point in adding dead links, e.g., to the UGC wiki, which has been offline for quite some time now. Finally, if there is no map for a system uploaded to STOWiki, we do not need to add a "Map"-section to a respective article and simply fill it with a "missing data"-template. It destroys readability ;) See how I changed Kessik System, for example. --Akirasensei (talk) 11:26, 18 January 2015 (UTC)

PS: I really wanna point out how much I appreciate all your contributions so far! Especially all the new portrait pictures are awesome. Something we need to get around to, is to add all the missing System descriptions for the Delta Quadrant systems and their respective articles... A major rewrite and update of all things pertaining to Bridge Officers is also looming on the horizon :p --Akirasensei (talk) 11:30, 18 January 2015 (UTC)

All good feedback - I appreciate it. Jeffel82 (talk) 15:39, 18 January 2015 (UTC)

Nice Work[]

I just wanted to say Nice work on 5 Year Anniversary Event Its only been up a few minutes but you pretty much got everything, that I could see - even the blog posts. Well done! Tahno (talk) 21:12, 1 February 2015 (UTC)

  • Thanks - I'm a little concerned that some of the information might be inaccurate, and I couldn't find reliable info on which giveaways were available on each days, but I tried to make it as accurate as possible. Jeffel82 (talk) 21:41, 1 February 2015 (UTC)
You'll find the giveaways and their days in LaughingTrendy's posts in the forum thread linked to the Giveaway blog, if you have time to go through it.Tahno (talk) 04:23, 3 February 2015 (UTC)

Table formatting tricks[]

I noticed you added {{clear}} to Wen to stop the text below flowing up the side of the table. I've come across that before, and the problem is the align="left" in the table itself. See the bottom of my talk page for details. The solution is to simply remove the align tag all-together. I fixed the table and did a little clean-up while I was there :) Tahno (talk) 08:30, 4 February 2015 (UTC)

Call for assistance[]

Hi,

Please have a look at my post on the community portal. Thanks! --Akirasensei (talk) 22:48, 9 March 2015 (UTC)

U.S.S. Concorde[]

I noticed that on the U.S.S. Concorde page you have her listed as being at Drozana Station. This seems to go against site policy of not mentioning locations of default examples of NPC ship classes (unless they are specifically part of a mission such as the U.S.S. Defiant) since every example of the ship will have the same name and registry. If you have a justifiable explanation for this exception I would like to hear it. Otherwise, I will have to revert this edit to conform to established article standards. Orca19904 (talk) 05:03, 26 September 2016 (UTC)

Ah, sorry - this was not something I was aware of. I'll revert. Jeffel82 (talk) 12:51, 26 September 2016 (UTC)
