Daniel Fitzgerald
My name is Daniel Fitzgerald and I'm 27. When I'm not playing STO, I am a Computer Repair Technician.
I am also a massive fan of Star Trek, my favorite series is (obviously) The Next Generation.
I run my own web & game servers for my gaming community Pothole Studios, Which started out as a Halo 2 gaming community back in 2005, and has since expanded into many games, such as STO, MTA, GT5, and other PC, Playstation 3, and Xbox 360 games.
I am also the founder of the fleet Icarus Factor, Which is my gaming community's (Pothole Studios') fleet.

Vice Admiral Daniel Fitzgerald is my main character. A Starfleet Human Tactical officer that commands the U.S.S. Shepparton, a Tactical Escort Refit.

U.S.S. Shepparton (NX-93281-F) is the 7th Starship to hold the name Shepparton.
Starship Shepparton follows a proud line of Australian Royal Navy ships all the way back to the first HMAS Shepparton J248 a Bathurst Class Corvette which gained battle honors in Pacific 1943 & New Guinea 1943-44.
The ships namesake is: City of Shepparton, Victoria, Australia
The U.S.S. Shepparton carries the legacy of these once great war ships into 2401 and beyond.
The ships emblem is the same as that of the original J248 HMAS Shepparton, modernized to suit the Sao paulo class.
The motto remains the same. "By Wisdom And Courage"

The product of a cloning procedure gone wrong, bred for organ harvesting in the 24th century, unlike the other clones in his breeding pod, Daniel was born of not one parent but of two, a computer miscalculation mixed Daniel's chromosomes so he was formed just like any other human with 2 parents, where most medical clones are born without a conscious mind a programming glitch in the cloning machine allowed Daniel to be born wide awake and aware.
Daniel's existence should not have occurred being conscious and genetically unique from the other clones would have put an end to funding of the medical facility and being an error in production Daniel would have been put to death upon realizing the error to save his life the head scientist covered up Daniel's birth and adopted him as his own.
Daniel grew up unaware of his genetic identity, he went to school and graduated Starfleet academy and after years of solitude lost in space (give a woman a ship and she'll get lost in the Delta quadrant!)
Daniel answered a distress call one day and found on a desolate planet a lone female, scared and alone he took her in guided her and established a strong relationship, to this day she remains by his side as his most trusted commander.
Daniel learns of his heritage when the facility into which he was born was under attack by Borg, when defending his father the scientist Daniel came face to face with two familiar looking Borg, the Borg had assimilated the clone pods and made all the clones aware Daniel had no choice but to destroy his biological parents and the clones that was created from them to stop the creation of an ever growing population of Borg.
Daniel is the last of his kind though often tarred as being just like the other clones he is kind considerate and more humanly then any of the other experiment clones, shunned by the humans of earth he wanders the skies with his lab rat coco and his commander at his side where he dreams of a happy long life and an end to the Borg.

U.S.S. God of Thunder (NX-917029-F) is the 7th Starship to hold the name God of Thunder.
In the ancient Greek religion, Zeus is the "Father of Gods and men" who rules the Olympians of Mount Olympus as a father rules the family. He is the god of sky and thunder in Greek mythology.
The Odyssey Star Cruiser features a massive size and bulk unseen previously by Starfleet, which grants it excellent resiliency under fire. In this extended period of conflict, the Starfleet Corps of Engineers were tasked with developing a cruiser with additional firepower. The name "God of Thunder" fits with the ship's amazing strength, endurance, power and resilience perfectly.
The ships emblem is a take on the original Odyssey Development Project emblem, but then mixed with the Greek Mythology of the name, Zeus' hand holding a lightning bolt for the central design, overlays the background star pattern inherent in the United Federation of Planets logo.
The ships motto which surrounds its emblem is: "Με δύναμη και αντοχή". Which when translated from Greek to English becomes "With strength and endurance"
Leah T. Smith Character Bio
Leah is the product of an accident during a cloning procedure, Leah was the only Female clone ever made from a Male. The original was Admiral Daniel Fitzgerald of the Starship U.S.S. Shepparton.
Leah, unlike her male original was more balanced towards Engineering, rather than tactics, and enrolled in Star Fleet as an Engineer.... (Bio Unfinished)

U.S.S. Sanghelios is the 3rd Starship to hold the name Sanghelios.
The Sanghelios is a Caitian Atrox Carrier on loan to Starfleet from the Caitians.
When the Federation called upon their member worlds for assistance, the Caitians responded by loaning their fierce Atrox Carriers to Starfleet.
Xalziol was recommended personally by Admiral T'nae to command the Sanghelios, after she saw the scope of the thought and logic in which Xalziol has used throughout his missions on the Romulan front.

Xalziol Utzal Character Bio
One of the surviving aliens of the Roswell Incedent, 1947, Xalziol suffered great injuries in the crash, he was kept frozen until the late 2300's. after humans met the Vulcans the vulcans unfroze him and healed many of his crash injuries. However due to his genetic makeup, the scars on his head will never heal. He has no memory of anything prior to coming out of cryo-freeze other than his name, Xalziol joined Star Fleet in an attempt to find his people, but worries that they could have already been wiped out by the Borg.
Xalziol's race have average lifespans of over 800 years. and require 3 parties for Sexual Reproduction, Male, Female and "Caxaratz" (There is no English translation for their third Sex)
Unknown to Xalziol he has a sister a female by the name of Gazliel Utzal, Who is an officer on the Klingon ship I.K.S. ghop vo' qeylIS (I.K.S. Hand of Kahless)

U.S.S. God of Thunder docked with Starbase Hades
Icarus Factor is the official fleet run by Pothole Studios. A machinima and gaming community run by Daniel Fitzgerald
Icarus Factor was founded on stardate 89551.02
The first Icarus Factor emblem is an attempted recreation of the original Pothole Studios logo, within the constraints of the game's logo creator. Due to limitations, the emblem takes the form of an Andorian female "Mudflap Girl" Which was used in place of the Pothole Studios Holden Kingswood Ute which sports the Halo M41 LAAG Turret, to keep the "motoring" theme of the logo. The background Diamond was recreated within the limitations of STO also.
The Name "Icarus Factor" was decided by a vote consisting of titles of many episodes of TOS and TNG. "The Icarus Factor" is the title of Episode 14, of Season 2, of Star Trek: The Next Generation.
In Greek mythology, Icarus is the son of the master craftsman Daedalus. The main story told about Icarus is his attempt to escape from Crete by means of wings that his father constructed from feathers and wax. He ignored instructions not to fly too close to the sun, and the melting wax caused him to fall into the sea where he drowned.
The statement "Fly too close to the sun and you will burn" ironically reflects the Pothole Studios community's other projects.
Currently there is a vote for a New Icarus Factor fleet emblem. This emblem is much the same as the previous, but instead of the Mud Flap Girl, a Winged Man, to represent "Icarus" himself.
Icarus Factor's Fleet Starbase is called "Hades" (NCC-94721) Yet again, another reference to Greek Mythology.

According to myth, he and his brothers Zeus and Poseidon defeated the Titans and claimed rulership over the cosmos, ruling the underworld, air, and sea, respectively; the solid earth, long the province of Gaia, was available to all three concurrently.
