Ship Controls
- Pitch up - W [1]
- Left - A
- Right - D
- Pitch Down* - S
- Throttle Up - E
- Throttle Down - Q
- Reverse - R
- Full Impulse - Shift+R [2]
Also, as a side note, pressing P will give you a list of commands you are able to set as hot bar keys. It is generally suggested to find Transwarp on that page, and use it for when you are in Sector Space, but do not want to take the time to fly all the way back to Earth Spacedock. There is a 15-minute cool-down for this ability, which does not count time spent logged out of the game world.

When a target is locked, A and D will strafe instead of turning to keep your target in front of you.
In all cases, you will have hot bars. Your 1–8 keys will be used, as well as Alt + 1–8 (A1 - A8) and Ctrl + 1–8 (C1 - C8), to gain access to other abilities. You can drag and drop abilities onto your hot bar for use in battles. Also take note of the shortcuts for the bridge officers' abilities. You can view multiple hot bars (the "Alt" and "Ctrl" hotbars) by clicking the button on the right side of the hot bar that looks like 3 boxes. It will show 1, 2 and 3. Select the number of bars to show.
