Dampen Energy Signatures is an in-game Starship Trait.
This trait gives bonuses in Space if slotted into an Active Starship Trait slot.

Basic information

• Game Description: +Stealth, +Dmg, -Threat for Hangar Pets after activating Intel Bridge Officer Abilities or Mask Energy Signature

Detailed information

While this starship trait is slotted, activation of Mask Energy Signature or any Intel Bridge Officer Ability will grant your hangar pets a damage boost, a large amount of stealth and significantly reduce their threat generation for a short time. Hangar Pets do not break their stealth even while they are attacking.

To your Hangar Pets for 10 sec:

• +5% Bonus All Damage
• -50% Threat Generation
• +4,000 Stealth
• +15 Defense Rating

1. It must be noted that upon being triggered, this trait puts the ship into Red Alert state. This means this trait actually cannot be used with Mask Energy Signature. This issue is present wint Intel Bridge Officer Abilities as well.
2. Bonus damage and defense stat increases are currently not working.
3. Due to stealth formula (Perception - Stealth / 50 = km that enemy can detect you), 4000 stealth essentially reduces the range enemy can see hangar pets from 25km to 20km if the opponent doesn't have more than base perception.
