:The new chart lists the 120 {{AT}} price of the Rivera tribble. If the image is still showing the LCARS one when you click it the issue may be with the browser caching an older version. A refresh usually does the trick. --[[User:MatthewM|MatthewM]] 16:52, 12 February 2011 (UTC)

Revision as of 18:42, 25 June 2013

Many thanks and kudos to the staff for bringing us a new version of the tribble chart, with all the updates! Much awesome indeed!Ishaka 07:55, 12 February 2011 (UTC)

Are users allowed to edit this guide? I merely wish to recommend adding a couple of things: Mainly that it is not recommended to have a Bridge Officer hold both a Tribble and a food item (they are likely to use the food item) for breeding, that Tribbles can be mailed or put up on the exchange in order to 'separate' them from food (or Cannibal Tribbles and Tribble Carcasses, as the case may be), and that it appears that Tribbles cannot eat if they are located in a full inventory (i.e.- if Tribble and food are in a bank and there are no empty bank slots, Tribble will not eat the food and replace it with another Tribble). 200.53.241.170 08:19, 2 February 2012 (UTC)

Tribble Breeding Improvements

Did you find our improvements to the page helpful? Do you like MatthewM's new chart? Is the page out of date? Do you think we need to add more to the page? Please leave your feedback on this page--Cyrano.Jones 11:51, 12 February 2011 (UTC)

I didn't find it to be out of date, other than that the Riv breed can now be purchased through the C-Store for 120 Tokens (I've updated sections of the Wiki where I found references to Riv being pre-order only). Also, when trying to view Matt's chart in full it still links to the LCARS chart (the full 1600xwhatever JPEG). --Kraft 12:15, 12 February 2011 (UTC)

The new chart lists the 120 Atari Tokens price of the Rivera tribble. If the image is still showing the LCARS one when you click it the issue may be with the browser caching an older version. A refresh usually does the trick. --MatthewM 16:52, 12 February 2011 (UTC)

Got to admit that I just sell the little buggers for 25 credits on the exchange. They go fairly fast. --Drmike 15:27, 12 February 2011 (UTC)
There is now Gamma Quadrant Tribble that you apparently get when your tribble eats a (stack of) Ketracel White. Not sure about what tier Tribble you need or if there is a mission requirement before you can breed it. 209.191.209.25 07:42, 3 July 2012 (UTC)
This is already on the chart -- far right, below the Triolic tribble. --MatthewM 07:52, 3 July 2012 (UTC)

Tribble Charts

I'm just peforming a survey which chart do you like better:

A)The Week Old LCARS style one edited by me and original by Kappa.Tau

B)The New One by MatthewM

To view them go to the Tribble breeding page cklick on the image and scroll down to see my one MatthewM's is at the top Post your choice here.

I mean no offense and, you're effort is appreciated, but personally I like B. I prefer the linear flow of his. The LCARS version seems too cluttered to me.

Your comment is appreciated--Cyrano.Jones 08:12, 12 February 2011 (UTC)

Another vote for the new one, it's cleaner, easier to read, and less confusing to n00bs. (BrooklynKnight 08:13, 12 February 2011 (UTC))

--Skippy2k 08:17, 12 February 2011 (UTC) I have to agree with the above, allways liked the older chart but prefer the layout of the new one. Easier to see the progression of the breeds. So have to vote for "B"...great work on both though!

I just looked at the LCARS chart, And I'll have to say, I like Matthew's quite a lot better. It's a lot more readable and understandable than the lcars one.

I'd like to thank both Cryano and Matthew for their efforts. We were in dire need of an updated flow chart. I'm kind of sad, that we need to vote for one over the other, since Cyrano is a very enthusiastic newcomer. However, as regards content, I have to agree that the new chart has some advantages. @MatthewM: Do you have a printer-friendly version of this with a white background and black text?. --RachelGarrett 09:28, 12 February 2011 (UTC)
I made it on PowerPoint so I can get a grayscale one immediately (the main loss of information is the red/gold/blue/etc boxes all look essentially the same), or would it be better to keep the color for those and the tribbles but have the rest of the text black on white? --MatthewM 10:35, 12 February 2011 (UTC)
I'd just change the background to white and text/arrows to black and leave all the other colors and images as they are. Everyone who has no color printer will do the greyscale conversion with their driver. Regards, --RachelGarrett 17:50, 12 February 2011 (UTC)
Edit: Of course only in addition to the version that is currently up, which fits way better with the Wiki skin/theme ;-)! --RachelGarrett 17:51, 12 February 2011 (UTC)

I quite like the B version. The LCARS one can get a little hard to read if you're trying to reference it in-game as it keeps the Tribbles of the same tier together. Also, when you click the B chart, it takes you to the LCARS version for full-view. --Kraft 11:16, 12 February 2011 (UTC)

I'v found a mistake on the B chart - the Riccossa can not be breed by feeding the Howe [Romulan Kali-Fal], but over-all the B chart is the one I use since I found it becuase it is easier to read during game play.
