Starship traits

Starship traits are unlockable by either advancing through the Starship Mastery tiers of different Tier 6 starships, or by advancing through a Captain Specialization.

A trait unlocked by specific Tier 6 starships is consequently available only to the faction the starship is available to. Each player has four trait slots available, which can be reassigned in-game whenever out of combat.

Federation Starship Traits

Emitter Synergy	Scryer Intel Science Vessel	When using Tac or Intel Bridge Office Ability: • To self: +7.5% Exotic Damage for 15 sec (Stacks up to 3 times) • To self: +7.5% Shield Heals for 15 sec (Stacks up to 3 times)
Desperate Repairs	Guardian Cruiser	When critically hit: • Grant 1 Desperation counter for 120 sec. At 3 counters: • To self: +5,000 Shield Regeneration. • To self: +25,000 Hit Points. • Prevents gaining Desperation counters for 60 sec.
Radiant Nanite Cloud	Dauntless Class Experimental Science Vessel	When using any hull healing ability: • Heals for an additional 25% over 4 seconds in a 3km radius.

Klingon Starship Traits

Advanced Firing Solutions	Qib Intel Battlecruiser	When firing cannons: • +1 Flight Turn Rate for 10 sec • +0.8% Accuracy for 10 sec (Stacks up to 10 times)

Romulan Starship Traits

Tactical Retreat	Faeht Intel Warbird	When reduced to less than 25% hull strength: • +60% Defense • Untargetable for 2 sec • +254% Flight Speed strength for 10 sec • Resets all Threat to zero • Can occur once every 60 seconds
Warp Shadow Decoy	Aelahl Light Warbird Battlecruiser	When activating Cloak: • Creates a Warp Shadow of your ship for 15 seconds that will taunt NPC enemy starships.

Cross-Faction Starship Traits

Structural Integrity Overcharge	Ajax, Qui’Tu or Khaiell Pilot Ships	Bonus hull regeneration based on how high you set your base (unmodified) engine power.
Subwarp Sheath	Icarus, Klavek or Jaeih Pilot Ships	Adds armor penetration with all weapons based on your speed.
Stay On Target	Mercury, Kortar or Okhala Pilot Ships	Keeping your current target in your forward 90 degree arc causes your ship to autofire a microtorpedo every few seconds.
Improved Brace for Impact	Concorde, An'quat or Baratan Command Battlecruisers	Brace for Impact grants you a very large amount of Temporary Hit Points for a short period of time.
Improved Tachyon Beam	Geneva, Klinzhai or Deihu Command Battlecruisers	Tachyon Beam will now regenerate the shields of allies near the target.
All Hands on Deck	Presidio, Ty'Gokor or Vastam Command Battlecruisers	Activating a Tactical or Command Bridge Officer ability will reduce the recharge time of Science Bridge Officer and Captain abilities. This may only occur once every few seconds.
Explosive Polarity Shift	Exploration Cruiser (T6), Negh'Tev Heavy Battlecruiser, D'Khellra Warbird Battlecruiser	When damaged while Reverse Shield Polarity is active: Apply 1 stack of Polarity Shift (max once per 0.5sec) When Reverse Shield Polarity duration ends: • X Kinetic Damage (100% Shield Penetration) to foes within 3km (Damage increased by 5% per stack of Polarity Shift)
Load Viral Torpedo	Benthan Assault Cruiser	When using Eng, Sci, Tac or Intel Team: • Loads a Viral Torpedo. • This causes your next Torpedo attack to disable your target(s) for a short period of time. • This can only occur once every 20 seconds.
Partners In Arms	Hazari Destroyer	When healing or buffling an ally: • Provide you with a 10% boost to all damage for 10 seconds. • This buff stacks up to 3 times. (Does not trigger when healing/buffing self.)
Demolition Teams	Captain Specialization: Commando	Space Trait. Every 4 sec, applies a Demolition Team debuff to your primary target (or nearest foe) within a 2km radius. Once 5 debuffs applied, deals 71.6 kinetic damage (100% shield penetration) Additional Demolition Teams cannot be applied for 12 sec after a successful detonation.
Pedal to the Metal	Captain Specialization: Pilot	Space Trait. +1% All Damage Bonus per 2 seconds spent at Full Throttle (max 10 stacks). All stacks immediately lost if your throttle is dropped.
Predictive Algorithms	Captain Specialization: Intelligence Officer	Space Trait. Activating any Weapon Enhancement Ability removes 1 Debuff effect and grants +2.5% Accuracy for 30 sec (stacks up to 4 times) - These stats improve, instead, by +5% accuracy per stack with the trait "Improved Predictive Algorithms" which is gained by completely Maxing out the Intelligence spec tree.
Command Frequency	Captain Specialization: Command Officer	Improves the cooldown of "Fleet Support" abilities and removes the "Low Health" restriction. Cooldown reduction is -5 minutes for basic Command Frequency, and -10 minutes for Improved Command Frequency.
Reactive Repair Nanites	Breen Sarr Theln Carrier	Using a hull heal ability will also heal your hangar pets within 5km of your target for a portion of the healing dealt.
Torpedo Barrage	Elachi Sheshar Dreadnought Cruiser	Your Torpedo: High Yield bridge officer abilities will cause you the queue up a bonus Torpedo: High Yield I. This can occur once every 30 seconds.
Emergency Response	Kobali Samsar Cruiser	Your Hull and Shield heal bridge officer abilities will have their recharge times reduced by 10% if you suffer damage while below 50% hull health. This can occur once every 4 seconds.
Supremacy	Vaadwaur Astika Heavy Battlecruiser	Cannon Scatter Volley or Beam Fire at Will provide a small boost to all subsystem power levels per target hit for a short time as long as these attack modes are active. This bonus stacks up to 20 times.
Frontal Assault	Vaadwaur Manasa Assault Escort	Activate any Cannon-enhancing ability (Rapid Fire, Scatter Volley, Surgical Strikes, etc.) provides a boost to your Shield Hardness and Shield Regeneration along your forward shield arc.
Go for the Kill	Jem'Hadar Strike Ship	Critical Hits extend duration of active Cannon: Rapid Fire by 3 seconds. May occur once every 5 seconds.
Temporal Insight	Delta Recruitment Event	Immunity to all damage for 2 seconds. May occur once every 45 seconds.
Improved Temporal Insight	Delta Recruitment Event	Immunity to all damage for 4 seconds. May occur once every 45 seconds.
