== Definition of a Critical Hit == Hi again, I was wondering if someone could explain what is meant by a critical hit? I am looking for a mathamatical description. For instance, i know that Antiproton bema array have a natural +20 Critical Severity bounus, but it is only applied if a critical hit is made. So what are the cahnces that a Critical Hit is made? Is is like the Proc for other types of Beam Arrays @ 2.5%? Thank you [[User:Woodtrandy|Woodtrandy]] 16:54, 20 March 2013 (UTC) ::Hi Woodtrandy.While hitting/slaying a monster/boss/ship/car on any games offline or online there is a chance (if the game devs. created one) to critically hit. I don't know exactly ,also this may vary from game to game, but a critical hit may be the multiplied value with 2 or 3 of a normal hit (Example : normal hit=2000 then a critical hit value may be ~6000 or even 7000).Yes, the antiproton proc adds additional +2% chance to deal the critical hit 7000.On STO for space there are consoles which helps with critical chance (assimilated console, the temporal console from lobi store,...), for ground (ferasan grass, gambling device from lobi store,..). Critical Severity increases that Critical Hit value ,let's say +30% Critical Severity,the value from 7000 turns into 9100 (7000*30%=2,100 and 7000+2100=9100) if a booster is used such as a console/weapon adds(procs)/potions/foods.Hope i'm not wrong :) [[User:Cris333|Cris333]] 16:21, 27 March 2013 (UTC) Thank you, Cris333 for that explaination.
