P.stellaviatori released from a canister
Prototaxites stellaviatori (also referred to as P.stellaviatori) is a species of fungus originating in the Mycelial network. Its fungal roots cross the universe, including alternate realities, and can be navigated by use of P.stellaviatori in a spore drive.
Spore colonies[ | ]
Colonies of P.stellaviatori can be found in locations such as the Kinjer System and the Donatu System. In the Briar Patch they are impacted by Metreon radiation and the Hargh'peng radiation in the Imaga System corrupted the spores to such an extent that the colony had to be removed.
