The Pathfinder Long Range Science Vessel is a Vice Admiral (Tier 6) level Federation Science Vessel. Players can obtain the vessel from the C-Store for 3000 .
Overview
When planning first began for Operation Delta Rising, the Starfleet Corps of Engineers quickly realized that an updated version of the famed Intrepid class would be essential for the mission's success. Most of the advanced technology used in the Pathfinder was first tested on the U.S.S. Voyager, which was completely updated before it departed for the Delta Quadrant. When Admiral Tuvok was satisfied with the ship's performance, work could begin to produce Pathfinders for the fleet.
This vessel comes with the Pathfinder-class costume and it enables the discount for purchasing its fleet variant. It can utilize the Intelligence bridge officer powers and other abilities described below.

Class | Information |
---|---|
The Intrepid class was the most technologically advanced ship of its kind in 2371. The design was considered a success and paved the way for many other Federation ships designs after U.S.S. Voyager experienced a seven year stint in the Delta Quadrant without a single visit to a Federation Starbase. | |
This rugged design was named after the Starfleet grandfather and Human inventor of Warp Drive Dr. Zefram Cochrane. While not the first craft to don his name, this class meets the standards and set forth as the toughest of Intrepid based designs. The Saucer is longer, the hull is shorter and nacelles are also hefty. Utopia Planitia designers made adjustments so that it could be even more self sufficient outside of Federation borders. | |
After creating the successful Intrepid class, the Utopia Planitia designers decided to update the design. Thus in the year 2400, Discovery was born. It was designed to be just as capable as Cochrane and Intrepid and even more advanced. A brand new nacelle design and highly experimental pylon fins were aimed at creating a more efficient and stable flight during warp travel when nacelles were in the upward position. | |
The Bellerophon class is based on the iconic Intrepid class, but with a more advanced design. The Bellerophon class has a unique half-moon shaped main deflector and distinctive blue bussard collectors, as well as the whiter hull color found in 25th century starship designs. This class is available after purchasing the Long Range Science Vessel Refit for 1,500 from the C-Store. |

Abilities
Universal Consoles
The Pathfinder Long Range Science Vessel comes equipped with a [Console - Universal - Aero Shuttle Bay]. This allows the ship to deploy a useful support craft to aid the starship in combat. The Aero Shuttle provides support with offensive science abilities and is equipped with special phaser beam arrays that have a greater chance to knock the target's subsystems offline.
This unique console may be equipped in any console slot on any Long Range Science Vessel variant that is Tier 5 or above. This console is part of the Long Range Science Vessel Set.
Sensor Analysis
Sensor Analysis is an active toggle ability. While maintaining a Sensor Lock on a target, the player gains a stacking effect that either improves the damage and power drain against an enemy, or improves any heal directed towards an ally. This effect stacks every 3 seconds, to a maximum of 6 stacks after 18 continuous seconds. To maintain the desired effect, the player must hold the sensor lock.
Subsystem Targeting
The Pathfinder Long Range Science Vessel comes with built-in Subsystem Targeting abilities. These built-in abilities stay at Rank I and do not automatically rank up when acquiring higher tier Science starships. They are separate from Subsystem Targeting abilities gained through Tactical Space Bridge officer abilities.
- Target Auxiliary Subsystems I
- Target Weapons Subsystems I
- Target Engines Subsystems I
- Target Shields Subsystems I
Activating a subsystem targeting ability will upgrade all energy weapons to inflict a stacking power drain on the foe's targeted subsystem for the next 10 seconds. They will also have a small chance to knock the targeted subsystem offline for a short duration.
Specialization Seating
The Pathfinder Long Range Science Vessel features one specialist bridge officer seat:
Standard configuration
Starships come with standard equipment and weapons of the lowest mark available at the ship's minimum rank. The items provided are appropriate to the type of vessel and its related playing style.

Hull strength
This table shows how the ship's hull strength scales at each level. The base hull of all scaling starships is 10,000, which is then multiplied by the ship's hull modifier (Expression error: Unexpected ( operator. for the Pathfinder Long Range Science Vessel), and then multiplied by the scaling multiplier below at each level.
