Nanoenergy Cell - Tachyon Rider is a craftable ground device that is used to supplement the abilities of Jem'Hadar weapons. Jem'Hadar Nanoenergy Cell Recipes, a reward for completing “Second Wave”, grants the ability to craft these.

These special cells use nanostream inputs to supplement the energy attacks from Jem'hadar weaponry. This cell adds a wide frequency tachyon pulse that enhances attacks to sometimes bypass shields.

A normal cell of this type will affect shots for 15 minutes. Only one Jem'Hadar nanoenergy cell can be active at a time.
