Story Arc:
In To Bodly Go: Explore the Afehirr Nebula the player's starship is dispatched to the Afehirr Nebula to begin exploration.
Synopsis[ | ]
Admiral T'nae dispatches the player's starship to the Afehirr Nebula. Upon arriving, the mission will complete with a hail from Lieutenant Anek, who then offers the “Explore the Afehirr Nebula” mission.

Mission Text[ | ]
Head to the eastern border in Psi Velorum Sector Space and contact Lt. Anek to get your orders to explore the Afehirr Nebula. The Afehirr Nebula is a nearby area of uncharted star systems. Even in this time of war the Federation can't forget its mission to continue exploring new places and making contact with new life forms.

- To Boldly Go missions act as introduction mission to the Exploration Clusters. Entering the Afehirr Nebula, the mission will automatically resolve itself, while “Explore the Afehirr Nebula” becomes the regular repeatable Exploration Tour mission.
- Exploration Clusters and associated missions were removed with the Season 9.5 update patch on 17 July 2014.
