Mission Text

Much of the Delta Volanis Cluster is uncharted. We're diverting ships to explore that area of space, and I think the U.S.S. <ship> is right for the mission.

Since the situation with the war could change at any time, I want you to check in frequently. You never know when we could have an emergency that requires every ship we've got.

The Delta Volanis Cluster can be found off the Sirius Sector Block.

Goal

Explore 3 systems in the Delta Volanis Cluster and report back with your findings.

Notes

Delta Volanis Cluster is found in the Sirius Sector Block, so you'll need to zone into the Cluster and search for a Delta Volanis Anomaly. Once your near one, you'll be given two options: "Scan Anomalous Readings" (for an item) or "Explore Unknown System", which will take you into a solo instance comprising one of three mission types:

Investigate planet: warp down to a planet to scan for items. Might include ground combat.
Investigate decommissioned base: get close to a space base, beam down, and fight off raiders.
Investigate anomalous readings: space mission where you gather data from anomalies.
