Gamma Recruitment was an in-game Global Event which took place from June 5 to July 18, 2018 on PC. It included new benefits and rewards for new Jem'Hadar characters, known as Gamma Recruits, created during the event.

Features and benefits

The Gamma Recruit Window

• All accounts received an extra Character Slot.
• Gamma Recruits had a bonus trait, Gamma Recruit, during the event which awards Salvage for the player's entire team upon defeating enemies.
• Gamma Recruits will find out quickly that they have been selected to participate in a series of special operations. These will help to prepare for combating the Hur’q threat, and operating alongside new allies from the Alpha and Beta Quadrants. Their handlers within the Dominion will issue a special Transponder device, allowing a new UI element to be accessed which will display these additional objectives.
  • This was represented by the Gamma RecruitWindow, a new UI element in the mission tracker. This UI was (and still is to Gamma Recruits) accessible by using the [Dominion Transponder].
• Unlike previous events, there were no weekly server-side goals to pursue as Gamma Recruits.

Rewards

• Completion of Gamma Recruit goals provided rewards for all characters on an account; account-wide rewards were claimed by visiting the Temporal agent at each faction's social hub (Philip Crey at Earth Spacedock, Commander Q'on in First City, or Subcommander Kail at the Romulan Flotilla).
