Starfleet is concerned by the recent theft of high-resolution medical replicators from a Federation medical ship in which a high-profile Beranavian scientist is implicated. You must investigate before the theft overshadows negotiations for Beranave to accede to the Federation.
Synopsis[ | ]
Admiral Flint on T'paal Orbital instructs the player to rendezvous with the USS Yuris in the Una system. The Yuris has suffered the theft of high-resolution medical replicators and Doctor Jurana has been implicated.
The Yuris has been damaged and the player must beam aboard its bridge to discuss the theft with Captain Nos. Players may opt to aid Lieutenant Misha with repairs to the bridge. After discussing the direction of Jurana's escape with Lieutenant Commander Manhire, the player is informed of an inbound squadron of Klingon raiders.
The player repells a mixed force of Klingon and Gorn ships and sets course to Deep Space 2 to follow Jurana's trail.
At Deep Space 2 a number of civilian captains offer clues which help the player narrow down the system Jurana is hid in - Epsilon Sagittarii. In orbit of Epsilon Sagittarii - D, the player engages with intent to disable the Beranavian frigate Toursillion.
On the planet, the player locates and enters Jurana's laboratory after encountering small squads of Beranave Marines and strange semi-sentient creatures. Within the laboratory the player locates and arrests Doctor Jurana for the crime of theft and violation of joint Federation-Beranavian laws against genetic engineering.
Returning the prisoner to Vulcan the player is debriefed by Admiral Flint.

Mission text[ | ]
Dr Jurana - a scientist from the Federation protectorate of Beranave - has disappeared after being implicated in the theft of medical replicators from the Starfleet hospital ship Yuris in the Orion sector.
Beranave has ambitions to full Federation membership, however this has been complicated by the emergence of evidence painting elements of the Beranavian Navy as complicit in the theft.
