Overview
Diplomacy Missions are non-combat missions granted to players of the Federation faction. Diplomacy Missions grant Diplomatic experience (DXP) in addition to regular skill/merit/bridge officer points.
With the recent release of Duty Officers in Season 5, there are additional Duty Officer assignments for Diplomacy. A downside to this is that the missions give less progression towards the goal, although the Diplomacy XP awards have been tweaked.
As of 12/17/2011, Admiral Karebbah on DS9 no longer functions for claiming rewards from reaching rank 4.
