Overview[edit | edit source]
Difficulty is a level you can set for missions before undertaking them. There are three levels of difficulty available:
- Normal (Default setting. You cannot suffer injuries.)
Missions on more difficult settings provide enemies that are stronger and use varying tactics. With a higher difficulty setting, you can sustain injuries and at a greater chance. The other side of this is that with a higher difficulty setting, the drops are more valuable.
Teams[edit | edit source]
The difficulty setting of the leader applies to the team.
PvP[edit | edit source]
The difficulty setting does not affect PvP content.
STFs[edit | edit source]
The difficulty setting for Special Task Force missions is solely determined by whether a team joins a normal (easier enemies, no injuries) or elite (harder enemies, injuries can occur) setting. Certain rewards are only available at one difficulty or the other (e.g. Mk X common tech in normals and Mk XII proto tech in elites).
How to Change Difficulty Level[edit | edit source]
There are two methods to changing your difficulty level for missions:
- Go to your "Options", and under the basic tab is a setting to change your default difficulty level.
- Go to your mission (hit the L key, and under the "Episodes" tab, click on a mission, and at the bottom of the window is a drop-down to change the difficulty level.
