The Cursa System (Beta Eridani) is a system located in the Donatu Sector and hosts a PvP ground arena.
System description[ | ]
Cursa (Eta Eridani) lies just within Klingon Empire space. The white giant star holds a Klingon colony world that was attacked by Cardassians in the early 24th century. Since then, the Klingons have worked to fortify the planet and turn it into a highly-militarized outpost.
Missions involved[ | ]
- “Test of Mettle”: Klingon Empire players investigate a Starfleet signal here in order to test out their new ship. It turns out to be a trap by remnants of the House of Torg, which is taken care of rather easily, however.
Trivia[ | ]
- Cursa is a real star, also known as Beta Eridani. "Cursa" is Arabic and means "the seat" (of the central one/Orion).
- The Cardassian attack mentioned in the system description appears to refer to the Star Trek: The Lost Era novel The Art of the Impossible, in which the system is attacked by the Cardassian Union in 2333.
