Benzar is the home world of the Benzites and a member world of the United Federation of Planets.
In Star Trek Online, Benzar can not be visited.

- During the Dominion War Benzar was captured by Dominion in 2374. Romulan forces drove them off the planet later the same year. The planet is (presumably) back in the hands of the Federation by 2409.
