The Delphic Expanse is an area in the Beta Quadrant on the verge of Federation space in the Kelvin Timeline.
History
- By 2260, Sphere Builders from the original timeline established a presence in the Delphic Expanse and started carrying out experiments. In an attempt to prevent the Sphere Builder incursion into their space, Starfleet forces clashed with the Klingon Empire, whom Sphere Builders tasked with defending their sphere network.
- After developing new tactics which could help liberate Delphic Expanse once and for all, Starfleet dispatched U.S.S. Yorktown to destroy the Command Sphere. Although Klingons managed to disable Starfleet vessel, they didn't expect intruders from the original timeline who helped the crew of the Yorktown regain control over their ship and take down the sphere network.
Missions Involved
“Terminal Expanse”: Daniels takes the player to the Alternate Delphic Expanse to put a stop to Sphere Builder operations which endanger not only time, but other dimensions as well.
