Overview[ | ]
Multi-Vector Assault Mode - Gamma Command is an ability that separates the vessel into three smaller craft, referred to as vectors. The gamma vector (the lower stardrive section) is controlled by the player, and the alpha and beta vectors become AI controlled pets that fight alongside the player. This ability, along with details on the individual vectors and general notes are described in the main Multi-Vector Assault Mode article.
Basic Information[ | ]
- Profession: All
- Locale: Space
- Game Description: Activate Multi-Vector Assault Mode. Your Advanced Escort separates into 3 parts and you remain in command of the Gamma section. The Gamma section diverts surplus power to its auxiliary systems. Its smaller mass will afford you an improvement to speed and maneuverability with a reduction in hull hit points. Shield HP are only slightly reduced. Crew is evenly distributed among the 3 sections - 50 crewmen to each. The Alpha and Beta sections will follow you and will attack your target. If they take heavy damage, they will become disabled and you will need to disengage 'Multi-Vector Assault Mode' and re-dock with the other crafts to get them functional again.
