Dual Vector - Guardian Command is an ability that separates the vessel into two smaller craft, referred to as vectors. The Guardian vector (the top section) is controlled by the player, and the Assault vector becomes an AI controlled pet that fights alongside the player.

- Game Description: Pilot the Guardian Warbird section of your ship. Activating this sequence separates your ship into two sections: a supporting Guardian Warbird, and an escort-like Assault Warbird. Guardian Command allows you to pilot the Guardian Warbird while the Assault Warbird will fight alongside you. While piloting the Guardian Warbird, power is redirected from Weapons and Engines to Auxiliary and Shields. The Guardian Warbird gains a modest amount of speed and maneuverability, as well as a significant amount of shield health, although hull strength is slightly reduced. If the independent Assault Warbird takes heavy damage, it will be disabled, and you will need to disengage "Dual Vector - Guardian Command" and re-dock with the Assault Warbird to get it functional again. Your companion Assault Warbird comes equipped with standard Heavy Dual Plasma Cannons, Turrets and Plasma Torpedos. It can activate Attack Pattern Alpha, Attack Pattern Omega, Cannon: Rapid Fire, Energy Weapons: Singularity Overcharge, and Singularity Plasma Shockwave. You cannot activate Warp Shadows while your ship is separated.
