The Yamato-class Dreadnought Cruiser is a Tier 6 Dreadnought Cruiser which may be flown by Starfleet characters, including Federation-aligned Romulan Republic and Dominion characters. This starship can be used from any level upon completion of the tutorial experience. As you level up, this ship gains additional hull, weapon slots, and console slots.

Players can obtain this starship from the Zen Store for 3,000 Zen small icon.png under the name Yamato Class Dreadnought Cruiser.

Purchasing this starship will unlock a Fleet Ship Module discount when purchasing the Fleet Galaxy Dreadnought Cruiser (T6).

Overview[edit | edit source]

The Tier 6 Yamato Class Dreadnought Cruiser was built for battle with the Federation's current enemies in mind. It was heavily influenced by the advances made in the Andromeda Class Exploration Cruiser's design and has incorporated its state of the art systems to create a truly formidable starship.

Class Information
Federation Dreadnought Cruiser.png
Galaxy class
Refit
SKIN UNLOCK: Free
The Galaxy class was refitted at the turn of the 25th century, after the collapse of the Khitomer Accords in 2399. In response to increased hostility with the Klingon Empire, the newly redesigned ship carries a cloaking device and a devastating spinal lance weapon.

The ship class first appeared as an alternate reality version of the U.S.S. Enterprise-D from the Star Trek: The Next Generation episode "All Good Things...".

Refit
SKIN UNLOCK: Free
An alternative version of the Galaxy class' refit that features none of the aesthetic differences with the Exploration Cruiser, with the exception of the spinal lance, the third nacelle, and the split main impulse engine.

The Galaxy Beta ship parts must be selected manually through Ship Customization and are not part of a starship preset.

Refit
SKIN UNLOCK: Free
Though similar in layout to the Galaxy, the Monarch class takes on harder edges, banked nacelles, and other structural changes throughout the spaceframe, incorporating lessons learned from its older siblings' 50 years of service.

Abilities[edit | edit source]

Universal consoles[edit | edit source]

The Dreadnought Cruiser (T6) comes equipped with the Supplemental Subsystems console, which is part of the Starfleet Maneuvering Protocol Set.

The Yamato can also equip other items from the same set - a cloaking device from the Dreadnought Cruiser, and the saucer separation console from the Exploration Cruiser Retrofit.

Cruiser commands

The Yamato-class Dreadnought Cruiser supports the following cruiser commands:

Hangar Bay[edit | edit source]

This starship has a single hangar bay equipped with Type 8 Shuttles. These shuttles are armed with Phaser Beam Arrays.

Carrier commands[edit source]

Phaser Spinal Lance[edit | edit source]

The Yamato Dreadnought Cruiser comes with a built-in Phaser Spinal Lance. This is a devastating weapon that deals phaser damage to foes. The Romulan counterpart is equipped on the Kara Advanced Warbird and the Klingon counterpart is equipped on the Kolasi Siege Destroyer.

Specialization seating

The Yamato-class Dreadnought Cruiser features the following specialist seats:

  • Lieutenant Commander Engineering-Command Lieutenant Commander Engineering/Command

Standard configuration[edit | edit source]

Federation starships come with standard equipment and weapons of the lowest mark available at the ship's minimum rank. The items provided are appropriate to the type of vessel and its related playing style.

Scaling starship

This starship's equipment slots, base hull capacity and shield capacity scale as your level increases.

Equipment slots and seating[edit source]

As you rank up every 10 levels, up to level 40, the ship's forward weapon slots, aft weapon slots, tactical console slots, engineering console slots, science console slots and available bridge officer (boff) abilities will slowly increase toward endgame capabilities:

Level Console tac icon.png Console eng icon.png Console sci icon.png Fore weapons Aft weapons Boff seats

Hull strength[edit source]

This table shows how the ship's hull strength scales at each level. The base hull of all scaling starships is 10,000, which is then multiplied by the ship's hull modifier (1.333333 for the Yamato Dreadnought Cruiser), and then multiplied by the scaling multiplier below at each level.

Notes[edit | edit source]

  • The Yamato-class is likely named after the U.S.S. Yamato, a Galaxy-class starship that was lost in 2365 after suffering a warp core breach caused by a virus transmitted from an Iconian Probe.
