The Vulcan T'Pau Scout Ship is a Vice Admiral (Tier 6) level scaling Scout Ship. This ship is available to players of all factions as a limited-time reward for participating in the 9 Year Anniversary Event by collecting 1000 [9th Anniversary Prize Vouchers].

This starship can be used from any level, upon completion of the tutorial experience. As you level up, this ship gains additional hull, weapon slots, and console slots.

Overview[edit | edit source]

Named after one of Vulcan’s greats, the T'Pau-class is a truly logic-driven design for a scout ship, with flexible seating to adapt to the situation at hand, high mobility to efficiently cover space, powerful primary and secondary deflectors to protect the vessel thoroughly, and powerful combat capabilities to deter any outside forces from interfering with its mission.

Alternative Variants[edit | edit source]

Class Information
Ship Variant - ALL - Vulcan T'Pau Scout Ship (T6).png
A small warp-capable ship utilized by the Vulcans in 2250s, the T'Pau-class features brownish hull livery and an annular warp nacelle also seen on other Vulcan ships. The ship is comparable in size to D'Kyr Science Vessel's support craft, making it one of the smallest playable vessels in Star Trek Online.

Abilities[edit | edit source]

Universal Consoles[edit | edit source]

The Vulcan T'Pau Scout Ship comes equipped with the [Console - Universal - Rebounding Resonant Frequencies].

Specialization Seating[edit | edit source]

The Vulcan T'Pau Scout Ship features one bridge officer specialist seat:

  • Lieutenant Commander Universal-Intelligence Lieutenant Commander Universal-Intelligence

Raider Flanking

Frigates, Light Escorts, Raiders, and Scout Ships come with a built-in passive damage boost available when striking an enemy's rear arc. To support their high turn rate and maneuverability, standard raider flanking grants:

  • +25% damage to NPC enemy when attacking rear arc.
  • +8.25% damage to Player enemy when attacking rear arc.

Sensor Analysis[edit source]

Sensor Analysis is an active toggle ability. While maintaining a Sensor Lock on a target, the player gains a stacking effect that either improves the damage and power drain against an enemy, or improves any heal directed towards an ally. This effect stacks every 3 seconds, to a maximum of 6 stacks after 18 continuous seconds. To maintain the desired effect, the player must hold the sensor lock.

Subsystem Targeting[edit source]

The Vulcan T'Pau Scout Ship comes with built-in Subsystem Targeting abilities. These built-in abilities stay at Rank I and do not automatically rank up when acquiring higher tier Science starships. They are separate from Subsystem Targeting abilities gained through Tactical Space Bridge officer abilities.

Activating a subsystem targeting ability will upgrade all energy weapons to inflict a stacking power drain on the foe's targeted subsystem for the next 10 seconds. They will also have a small chance to knock the targeted subsystem offline for a short duration.

Standard Configuration[edit | edit source]

Starships come with standard equipment and weapons of the lowest mark available at the ship's minimum rank. The items provided are appropriate to the type of vessel and its related playing style.

Scaling starship[edit source]

This starship's equipment slots, base hull capacity and shield capacity scale as your level increases.

Equipment slots[edit source]

As you rank up every 10 levels, up to level 40, the ship's forward weapon slots, aft weapon slots, tactical console slots, engineering console slots, and science console slots will slowly increase toward endgame capabilities:

Level Console tac icon.png Console eng icon.png Console sci icon.png Fore weapons Aft weapons
0-9 1 1 3 2 2
10-19 2 2 3 2 2
20-29 2 2 4 2 3
30-39 3 3 4 3 3
40+ 3 3 5

Hull strength[edit source]

This table shows how the ship's hull strength scales at each level. The base hull of all scaling starships is 10,000, which is then multiplied by the ship's hull modifier (0.9 for the Vulcan T'Pau Scout Ship), and then multiplied by the scaling multiplier below at each level.
