Variants[edit | edit source]
Aves Class[edit | edit source]
With its prominent command "head" section and split hull design, the Aves bears more than a passing resemblance to the D'deridex Warbird Battle Cruiser - only far more advanced looking. The ship has a comparatively much longer neck section and more prominent warp nacelles than the D'deridex, and the front of the head bears a resemblance to the Ar'Kif Tactical Warbird.
Harpia Class[edit | edit source]
The Harpia Class is an upgraded variant of the Dyson Science Destroyer. It features an additional Tactical console mod slot, improved hull and shield rating and comes equipped with the Proton Destabilizer Module Universal Console. This console allows you to draw power from your singularity core to emit a devastating proton beam from your deflector focused on a nearby enemy. Periodically arcing waves of proton energy will lash out at foes nearby your targeted enemy dealing damage to all enemies affected.
Tyton Class[edit | edit source]
The Tyton Class is an upgraded variant of the Dyson Science Destroyer. It features an additional Engineering console mod slot, improved hull and shield rating and comes equipped with the Protonic Shielding Matrix Universal Console. This console allows your Dyson class starship to store and then divert tremendous amounts of proton particles to periodically reinforce your shields for awhile. This will cause your starship to negate large amounts of damage every few seconds for a short time.
Caprimul Class[edit | edit source]
The Caprimul class is an upgraded variant of the Dyson Science Destroyer. It features an additional Science console mod slot, improved hull and shield rating and comes equipped with the Shield Inversion Projector Universal Console. This console allows your Dyson class starship to emit a devastating tachyon beam blast from your deflector, you can cause your foe's shields to briefly collapse in a wave of energy. The affected enemy will have their shields weakened and suffer heavy shield and hull damage. Allies within the wave will receive a large amount of shield healing.

Abilities[edit | edit source]
Other items from this set can be equipped for set bonuses and additional abilities.
Tactical Mode[edit source]
By default the Dyson Strategic Science Destroyer Warbird is a Science Vessel. However, activating the Tactical Mode ability, the starship will transform. Many science systems will be disabled or altered while some tactical systems will become active. When activating Tactical Mode, the following occurs:
- Solanae Dual Heavy Proton Cannons are enabled
- +15 Weapon Power
- +2 Turn Rate
- +10% Impulse Speed
- +20 Inertia
- Lt. Commander Tactical Bridge Officer seat is upgraded to Commander Tactical
- Commander Science Bridge Officer seat is downgraded to Lt. Commander Science
- Secondary Deflector is disabled
- Sensor Analysis is disabled
- Subsystem Targeting is disabled
- -15 Auxiliary Power
Tactical Mode may be deactivated at any time to return to the default Science Mode, but doing so incurs a 60 second cooldown on the transformation back to Tactical Mode.
Subsystem Targeting[edit source]
The Dyson Strategic Science Destroyer Warbird comes with built-in Subsystem Targeting abilities. These built-in abilities stay at Rank I and do not automatically rank up when acquiring higher tier Science starships. They are separate from Subsystem Targeting abilities gained through Tactical Space Bridge officer abilities.
- Target Auxiliary Subsystems I
- Target Weapons Subsystems I
- Target Engines Subsystems I
- Target Shields Subsystems I
Activating a subsystem targeting ability will upgrade all energy weapons to inflict a stacking power drain on the foe's targeted subsystem for the next 10 seconds. They will also have a small chance to knock the targeted subsystem offline for a short duration.
Sensor Analysis[edit source]
Sensor Analysis is an active toggle ability. While maintaining a Sensor Lock on a target, the player gains a stacking effect that either improves the damage and power drain against an enemy, or improves any heal directed towards an ally. This effect stacks every 3 seconds, to a maximum of 6 stacks after 18 continuous seconds. To maintain the desired effect, the player must hold the sensor lock.
The Dyson Strategic Science Destroyer Warbird has a battle cloak that allows the ship to cloak during combat, granting stealth and a damage bonus upon decloaking.
Romulan Warbird vessels come with built-in Singularity abilities. These abilities do not automatically rank up when acquiring higher tier Warbirds. These powers build in severity based on the charge built up by the ship's Singularity Core.
Standard configuration[edit | edit source]
These starships come with standard equipment and weapons of the lowest mark available at the ship's minimum rank. The items provided are appropriate to the type of vessel and its related playing style.

Notes[edit | edit source]
- This ship was released with the other Advanced Dyson Destroyers on the 20th of February.
- * The Dyson Science Destroyers manufactured by the Romulan Republic have lower shield modifiers than the Starfleet variants and less hull than the Klingon Defense Force variants, but they make up for this with a built in Romulan Battle Cloaking Device.
