Template talk:Not in game
Though the policy on non-STO content is clear, I think a permissive attitude is appropriate to a STOWiki as we have a realtively small community of contributors. Rather than considering non-STO articles as candidates for deletion, it would be better in my opinion to keep them, but makr them such that:
- It is clear to readers that the content referenced in the article isn't in-game
- So that we can more easily keep track of articles and prevent too much 'creep' into general STO canon.
I can see why people would want to add articles like this; Memory Alpha is pretty much done, but STOWiki is a clean slate where people can express themselves; however if we want to keep STOWiki on-track then we need to keep an eye on this. --Zutty 14:02, 15 March 2011 (UTC)
