let me know if there are any fields or variables I have neglected. --Lem (talk) 14:36, 18 February 2010 (UTC)

Only thing I can think of is that the image lookup is only for .jpg's, also I find the image 200px size a little small, it could probably go an extra 50 of so without stretching out the table. Otherwise, it's spot on :) --Flibby 14:37, 18 February 2010 (UTC)

Category for npc ships[edit source]

This template adds npc ship to a category with the following format: . Pages like U.S.S. Yeager have class=Cardenas-class, so it is added to the Cardenas-classs (npc) category. Does anyone have a suggestion on how to resolve the extra S issue? Some of the options are:

 •
 •
 •
 •

Please add your suggestion here. NPC suffix was added to distinguish them from the playable ships, for example: Category:Cruisers only has playable versions, while non-playable cruisers are added to Category:Cruisers (npc) at the moment. Also, ground non-player characters are added to Category:Klingon NPCs, but we can use any format decided here. --Damixon (talk) 15:50, 17 February 2019 (UTC)

I think the (npc) option is fine. --PiralDorrm (talk) 16:30, 17 February 2019 (UTC)
There are also a lot of categories with (Mob) suffix. For example Category:Federation Cruiser (Mob)s, and we should either have mob or npc in category name. --Damixon (talk) 18:53, 19 February 2019 (UTC)
Template updated - If text under class parameter has "-class", its category will be named differently, without "s". I changed the category format to be without (npc) suffix in this case as I think it won't bring confusion with playable versions. Type here if you think the category name in this case should be Category:NAME-class vessels/starships, instead of current Category:NAME-class so we can change it. --Damixon (talk) 13:44, 2 March 2019 (UTC)
