Template:Hangartable

From Star Trek Online Wiki
Jump to: navigation, search
The following documentation is transcluded from Template:Hangartable/doc (edit):

This template is used on the Hangar Pet page to add the Normal/Advanced/Elite pet variant to the table. It is an alternative to standard way of adding info to the table. Allows easier navigation once in place because data per hangar pet takes less space on the page.

Usage[edit source]

If starting a new table, place {{hangarstart}} on top - it adds the table headers. Then goes {{hangartable}} (example below), closed with |}.

{{hangartable
|role=Attack |hangar=Tellarite Adamant Fighters |squad=3/6 |unlock=Tellarite Pralim Flight-Deck Assault Cruiser |restriction=Any Ship |allW1={{iconlink2|Phaser Beam Array|16px}} |vrW2={{iconlink2|Pulse Phaser Cannon|16px}} |urW2={{iconlink2|Phaser Beam Array|16px}} |allP1={{iconlink2|Quantum Torpedo Launcher|16px}} |rA1=Reflective Hull I |vrA1=Reflective Hull II |urA1=Reflective Hull III }}

...will produce the following:

Role Fighter Squad Weapon Abilities
Tellarite Adamant Fighters
- UNLOCK: Tellarite Pralim Flight-Deck Assault Cruiser
- RESTRICTION: Any Ship

Parameters[edit source]

1. BASIC INFO

  • role - list of roles: Hangar Pet#Roles
  • hangar - name of the standard hangar pet.
  • squad - number of pets launched by clicking the ability / maximum capacity
  • restriction - what ships are pets usable on

2. ENERGY WEAPONS

  • allW1, allW2, allW3, allW4 - use this if all 3 variants have the same weapon 1/2/3 or 4. In the example above, all three hangar pets have the Phaser Beam Array as weapon 1 so |allW1={{iconlink2|Phaser Beam Array|16px}} was used to show the weapon icon on all three cells.
  • r+vrW1, r+vrW2, vr+urW1, vr+urW2, vr+urW3 - use this if only two of three hangar pet variants have a specific weapon. Rare and very rare (or very rare and ultra rare), while the third one doesn't have it.
  • rW1, rW2, rW3, vrW1, vrW2, vrW3, urW1, urW2, urW3 - use this if only one hangar pet variant has a specific weapon. In the example above, only the Elite variant has the second beam weapon so |urW2={{iconlink2|Phaser Beam Array|16px}} was used to show the weapon icon only on the ultra rare variant cell.

3. PROJECTILE

  • allP1 - use this if all 3 variants have the same projectile.
  • rP1, vrP1, urP1 - use this if only one variants has a projectile.
  • vr+urP1 - use this if the advanced and elite hangar pet have the same projectile, while the normal variant doesn't have it.

4. ABILITY

  • allA1, allA2, allA3, allA4, allA5 - use this if all variants have the same ability. For example, hangar pet in the table above could use the |allA1=Reflective Hull |r#1=I |vr#1=II |ur#1=III, to show the ability in all three cells.
    • r#1, r#2, r#3, r#4, vr#1, vr#2, vr#3, vr#4, ur#1, ur#2, ur#3, ur#4 - if allA# is used, these are needed to add I/II/III level to the ability.
  • rA1, rA2, rA3, rA4, vrA1, vrA2, vrA3, vrA4, urA1, urA2, urA3, urA4 - use this to add ability only to one table cell.
