1.2 has changed some of this[]

There are some posts in the Starfleet Academy forums covering changes to this information (weapon power considerations including EPS and interation of several weapons used together). As a total newbie, I don't feel competent to reflect the changes here. --Swordmage 03:31, 11 July 2010 (UTC)

Auxillary Turn Rate Increase[]

It has been claimed that Engine Power now affects turn rate.

Got a link? I seem to recall seeing a discussion about this a few weeks ago but the poster had noticed that when the ship was at rest, you can spin fairly quickly and concluded that engine power was applied in reverse to your turn rate. --Drmike 22:47, 11 March 2012 (UTC)

Weapon power[]

There seems to be some contradictory information on the page;

Currently the "Regeneration and EPS section" says both of the following;

"Players are able to use an "EPS Flow Regulator Console - Engineering - EPS Flow Regulator" to increase the rate at which the power is transferred between subsystems and how fast it is regenerated once spent.

"how fast it is regenerated"

The same section also says;

"This only affects power being transferred from one subsystem to another, and will not recharge weapon power lost to weapon drain faster than normal."

"Will not recharge weapon power faster than normal"

So does this affect how fast a system regenerates power that it has used, or does it not? Without having an actual measure, purely visually checking on one of my characters seems to show that weapon power does indeed recover faster with a high EPS score, but that isn't conclusive.90.218.145.84 15:21, 16 April 2020 (UTC)
