Talarian Hook Spider
The Talarian Hook Spider is a large arachnid species native to Talarian space.
Habitat[edit | edit source]
Besides their native environment, Talarian Hook Spiders dwell in dark and remote areas of starships and space stations. One group of this species nests on the lower decks of Drozana Station.
Characteristics[edit | edit source]
Talarian Hook Spiders are large arachnids with dark-magenta colored bodies. The dorsal abdomen and pedicel both have a yellow-brown colored horizontal banding that has a metallic sheen. There are black points on their eight walking legs. There are eight eyes on the cephalothorax; two major and six minor. There are two large pedipalps with sharp superior projections from each segment with the largest on the patella. There are two red colored maxillae and no chelicerae.
They react aggressively towards incursion into their territory, as do many other large spiders.
