Specialization: Explosives Expert is a duty officer specialization within the Operations department. A maximum of 1 may be assigned to the active duty roster.

  • Obtaining: These powers are for duty officers obtained from the C-Store Reinforcements Duty Officer Pack.

    • When Chroniton Mines detonate from your Chroniton Mine Barrier, the explosion has a chance to disable the target's weapons. Multiple explosions on the same target will increase the chance of their weapons being disabled.

Exothermic Induction Field variant[edit | edit source]

Quality Ship Duty Effect
Purple Your Exothermic Induction Field has a chance to fire a molten projectile at a nearby foe. This Chance is checked every second while this Duty Officer is on active duty, rather than just once at the time the ability is activated.

50% chance per second for molten projectiles.

Stun Grenade variant[edit | edit source]

  • Ship Duty: Ground
  • Game Description: [GR] Stun Grenade now sticks to your target and explodes after 3 seconds
  • Ability affected: Stun Grenade icon (Federation).png Stun Grenade
  • This ability will not activate while in Shooter Mode, which means you won't be able to lob the grenade over barriers that block line of sight.
  • The Stun AOE can still affect other enemies that are near the target of your Sticky Stun Grenade at the time of detonation.
  • The Stun duration can be enhanced with skill in Grenades, just like a non-Sticky version.
Quality Ship Duty Effect
Purple Instead of targeting the ground at your target's feet, your Stun Grenade will now stick to your designated target, guaranteeing that they will be in the affected radius at the time of detonation.

Projectile sticks to target, explodes after 3 seconds with standard affects.

Exploit Attack variant[edit | edit source]

Quality Ship Duty Effect
Violet Each time you fire on a foe with an Exploit Attack, you have a chance to cause a small radiation explosion at the target to deal extra damage to them and any other nearby foes.

10% chance: 5m radius at target:
8 - 39.8 Radiation Damage (Split among primary target and up to 4 other foes)

Coordinate Bombing Strike variant[edit | edit source]

Quality Ship Duty Effect
Violet With this officer on active duty, your Coordinate Bombing Strike explosions have a chance of dealing Knockback to foes that receive damage.

40% chance: Knocks back +8 meters
