Skill: Hull Penetration
This skill increases the damage dealt by your weapons by penetrating your enemies' Resistances. Each point of this skill grants your weapons +0.1 Armor Penetration.
Armor Penetration causes your weapons to behave as if the target's Damage Resistance Rating is lower than their actual value by the same amount as your Armor Penetration value.

Hull Penetration is a Captain Tactical skill available through the skill system at the level 30 (Player rank: Captain, Commander). There are three total skill nodes in this chain, each costing 1 Space Point to purchase.
This skill improves the damage dealt by your starship weapons by reducing the amount of damage resistance rating your target has. The amount of Hull Penetration you have is directly subtracted from the Damage Resistance Rating of your target when determining how much damage is dealt. Hull Penetration skill provides Armor Penetration to your weapons, which translates into a hull damage resistance rating debuff.

- 3-piece set bonus: Sensor Modifications = + 40 Hull Penetration
- Console - Universal - Interphase Quantum Distributor = +17.2 Hull Penetration
- Console - Universal - Crimson Force Field = +20 Starship Hull Penetration
- Console - Engineering - Xenotech Powerflow Module = +31.9 Hull Penetration
- Particle Feedback Loop = +50 Hull Penetration (can stack up to 3 times)
Armor Penetration[edit | edit source]
- Unshaken Resolve = +75 Armor Penetration (When attacking Immune target)
- Temporal Threading = Weapons gain +25 Armor Penetration and 25% Shield Penetration
- Ability: Vulnerability Assessment Sweep provide bonus of +XX Armor Penetration,based on the number of allies
- Console - Universal - Saboteur's Supercharger = +20 Armor Penetration (vs targets that are affected with a subsystem offline)
- Tactical Analysis - Activation of Tactical Team provide bonus of +20 Armor Penetration. **Does not Stack**
- Tactical Advantage = +0 to +20 Armor Penetration against your targets based on their current health percent.
- Subwarp Sheath = +15 Armor Penetration (at 70 impulse)
- Ability: Directed Energy Modulation= +5 to +10 Armor Penetration
- Harrying Maneuvers = +10 Armor Penetration and 10% Shield Penetration
- Intelligence Fleet = +10 Armor Penetration and 10% Shield Penetration
- Enhanced Armor Penetration = +5 Armor Penetration
- Console - Tactical - Harmonic Resonance Relay = +5 Armor Penetration (at Epic)
