New Personal Endeavor System[edit | edit source]

  • New account-wide progression system for Captains to enjoy, Personal Endeavors!
  • Personal Endeavors bring new Endeavors, Account-wide progression, and increased opportunities for daily rewards.
  • Every day you will be given three Personal Endeavor tasks of varying difficulties (Easy, Medium and Hard).
  • Completing your Personal Endeavors will grant experience within this system, as well as other rewards.
    • Acquiring enough Personal Endeavor experience will lead to gaining a Perk Point.
    • Choosing to spend a Personal Endeavor Perk Point will give you the opportunity to select from three random options for advancing a stat in the game.
  • Personal Endeavor Reward boxes will always include:
    • Personal Endeavor Experience (Scales with difficulty of Personal Endeavor)
    • Normal Experience (Scales with difficulty of Personal Endeavor)
    • Endeavor Box, containing 1 (Easy), 2 (Medium), or 5 (Hard) of the following rewards, chosen at random (repeats of each prize are possible):
    • Energy Credits
    • Dilithium Ore
    • Crafting Materials
    • Reputation Marks
    • Fleet Marks
    • Captain Specialization Point
  • This system unlocks at level 60.
  • All accounts will receive 1 free Perk Point when the system becomes available.

  • Join the First Contact Day Event celebration from 4/11/19 - 4/18/19!
  • Added an extra character slot.
    • Now 9 for lifetime subscribers
    • Now 8 for everyone.
  • The following ships now properly have their nacelles and associated ship parts animated and oriented while in sector space and when warping in and out of systems:
    • Intrepid Classes
    • Bird-of-Prey Classes
    • Chimera/Manticore Heavy Destroyer
    • Peghqu'/Duvqu' Heavy Destroyer
    • Daeinos/Dinaes Heavy Destroyer
    • Kelvin Timeline Heavy Command Cruiser
    • Aquarius Light Escort
    • HoH'SuS Bird-of-Prey
    • Risan Luxury Cruiser
    • The Kelvin Timeline Intel Dreadnought Cruise now properly closes its deflector blast doors during combat.
  • Updated the system that causes ships with moving wings/nacelles to fold them into cruise position while in sector space.
  • Discovery era Terrans on Pahvo now use the proper transporter animations when spawning.
  • Updated Memorial Plaque to include Morgan Woodward.

  • Updated Class names for Engineers that were missing the term Officer that is present in the other two classes.
    • Engineers are now "Engineering Officers", which matches "Science Officers" and "Tactical Officers"
  • Added missing Tail customization options for Caitian characters.
  • Resolved an issue that was causing Discovery Bridge officer Rank display name and pips in station ability select to not appear properly.

Content[edit | edit source]

  • The second episode of the Romulan Mystery arc, Taris, has received all new cutscenes.
  • The third episode of the Romulan Mystery arc, Mine Enemy has received all new cutscenes.
  • Addressed an issue that prevented Console players from receiving a trophy/achievement for completion of a tutorial after completing the Discovery tutorial.
  • Addressed an issue that could cause debug text to appear in "Quark's Lucky Seven" while hacking the security office console.

Systems[edit | edit source]

  • High Level Combat Tuning:
    • Reduced the base damage tables used by all Space NPCs (hostile and friendly).
    • This change will affect only NPCs at level 55 and above, and works out to a 15% reduction to base damage output at level 60, and approximately ~19% reduction at level 65.
    • Reduced the damage scalar applied to all Dreadnought-rank NPCs (hostile and friendly) by 10%.
  • Resolved an issue found present on all Ground NPCs, Bridge Officers, and some Pets, which was causing abilities that reduced their damage output and/or damage resistances to have less impact than intended.
    • This fix will result in abilities that reduce damage output and/or damage resistances being somewhat more effective than before against these types of NPCs/Boffs.
  • Cooldown on the following Combat Companions has been reduced from 5 minutes to 2 minutes:
    • Bio-Engineered Furiadon, Combat-Trained Tardigrade, Dilithium Encrusted Horta, Eisilum Crystal Horta, Holographic Combat Drone, Horta, Jackal Mastiff, Leashed Mugato, Polytrinic Acid Horta, War Targ.
  • Cooldowns on the following Space Distress Calls have been reduced from 15 minutes to 5 minutes:
    • Activate Phased-Waveform Beacon, Nimbus Pirate Distress Call, Delta Alliance Reinforcements Beacon, Romulan Distress Call - Bird-of-Prey, Romulan Distress Call - Mogai Escort, Romulan Distress Call - D'deridex Battleship
  • Photonic Officer Updates:
    • Photonic Officer now lasts 20 seconds, and has a 30 second cooldown.
    • Photonic Officer now reduces the cooldown of bridge officer abilities by 2%, 3%, or 4% per second while active.
  • Resolved an issue that caused the Competitive Wargames, Temporal, and Gamma Reputation Ground sets to list 4 items instead of 3.
  • The following items are now eligible for Re-Engineering:
    • All Reputation Ground Set Weapons
    • All Reputation Space Set Weapons
    • All Experimental Weapons
  • Directed Energy Modulation now additionally grants a buff to Weapon Armor Penetration while active.
  • The High Yield firing modes of the Advanced Temporal Defense Chroniton Torpedo Launcher (cluster launch mode) no longer share cooldowns/lockouts with other Cluster-type Torpedo Launchers.
  • Resolved an issue that caused the Reactive Shield Technology to provide an incorrect amount of shield restoration.
  • Resolved an issue that could prevent Control Amplification's debuff from applying correctly in some cases.
  • Fixed a bug that was causing no assignments to appear in the "Current Map" selection while on DS9's promenade.
  • All player versions of "Efficient" (including Borg Racial Trait) now more accurately list the bonuses they grant.
  • Resolved an issue that prevented Secondary Deflectors or Drain Infection from critically hitting as much as they should.
  • Resolved an issue that caused the displayed regeneration on Hull-Repairing Nanites to be inaccurate.
    • This is a tooltip change only.
  • Reroute Power from Life Support:
    • No longer slows down your weapons.
    • Now only slows down Bridge Officer and Captain abilities while active.
  • Resolved an issue that caused the Entwined Tactical Matrices trait to activate the buff from Protomatter Matrix Infusers.
