Release date: August 1, 2013
The R'Mor-class Temporal Science Vessel is a Tier 5 (Level 40) Science Vessel which may be flown by Romulan Republic characters. All faction restrictions of this starship can be removed by having a level 65 KDF character or by purchasing the Cross Faction Flying unlock from the Zen Store.
Players can obtain this starship as a ultra rare drop from the [Temporal Lock Box]. The boxed ship is not bound and so may be traded to other players or bought and sold on the Exchange for energy credits under the name [Special Requisition Pack - Temporal Science Vessel]. The choice box's contents depend on the player's faction; Romulan Republic players will receive the R'Mor Temporal Science Vessel when opening it.
Overview[ | ]
Tholian asteroid bases in the Azure Nebula still churn with activity, capturing numerous vessels from different timelines and salvaging their stolen technology. Fleets aligned with the Federation, the Klingon Defense Force, and the Romulan Republic have each been working against these Tholian captors, rescuing any vessels that they can from Tholian webs.
Recently, a new series of ships have been rescued from the clutches of the Tholians – Science Vessels and Destroyers that appear to be Romulan ships from the 29th century. As more of these ships are reclaimed, the Ferengi Lobi Crystal Consortium has been repairing and refitting them for use in modern-day warfare – and then selling them for a modest fee.
Among the ships that have been recovered was the R'Mor-class Temporal Science Vessel. The Romulan Republic's interest in these vessels cannot be understated. Unfortunately, much of the 29th century technology is missing from these ships – presumably stripped and now in the hands of the Tholian Assembly. Still, much can be learned from these vessels, and a few have been rebuilt with conventional equipment that takes advantage of some of these ships' secrets. With its future origins, the R'Mor-class bears a noticeably different appearance to other Romulan ships, but is still recognizable as being of Romulan heritage.
Class variants
Class | Information |
---|---|
SKIN UNLOCK: Free The "head" of the R'Mor class bears a similarity to the curved command sections of the Ha'apax and the Ha'nom, angling downwards and giving the appearance of a Bird-of-Prey's beak. The wings are less broad, but feature the classic Warbird feather pattern on top. | |
SKIN UNLOCK: Sui'Mor Temporal Science Vessel, 1 An improved variant, the Sui'Mor class features sharper hull lines, which give it a more aggressive passive stance. Warp nacelles are larger and more visible when viewed from above and open gaps on ship's wings are smaller and not as oval-shaped as on R'Mor class. |

Abilities[ | ]
Universal consoles[ | ]
The R'Mor Temporal Science Vessel comes equipped with the [Console - Universal - Tipler Cylinder].
This ability is part of the Temporal Fragmentation System Set, which also includes [Console - Universal - Manheim Device] and [Console - Universal - Temporal Distortions] obtainable with Talvath Temporal Destroyer (T5) and Paradox Temporal Dreadnought (T6), but also equippable on the R'Mor Temporal Science Vessel. For each console added after the first, an additional passive bonus is unlocked.
The R'Mor Temporal Science Vessel can also equip Enhanced variants of Tipler Cylinder and Manheim Device consoles from the Sui'Mor Temporal Science Vessel (T6) and Tal'aura Temporal Destroyer (T6).
Sensor Analysis[]
Sensor Analysis is an active toggle ability. While maintaining a Sensor Lock on a target, the player gains a stacking effect that either improves the damage and power drain against an enemy, or improves any heal directed towards an ally. This effect stacks every 3 seconds, to a maximum of 6 stacks after 18 continuous seconds. To maintain the desired effect, the player must hold the sensor lock.
Subsystem Targeting[]
The R'Mor-class Temporal Science Vessel comes with built-in Subsystem Targeting abilities. These built-in abilities stay at Rank I and do not automatically rank up when acquiring higher tier Science starships. They are separate from Subsystem Targeting abilities gained through Tactical Space Bridge officer abilities.
- Target Auxiliary Subsystems I
- Target Weapons Subsystems I
- Target Engines Subsystems I
- Target Shields Subsystems I
Activating a subsystem targeting ability will upgrade all energy weapons to inflict a stacking power drain on the foe's targeted subsystem for the next 10 seconds. They will also have a small chance to knock the targeted subsystem offline for a short duration.
Standard configuration[ | ]
