Multi-Mission Surveillance Explorer
The Multi-Mission Surveillance Explorer is a Vice Admiral (Tier 5) level Science Vessel. Federation players can obtain this vessel from the C-Store for 2500 , or as a part of the Vesta Pack of all three T5 variants for 5000 .
Overview[edit | edit source]
The Vesta-class is Starfleet's first Multi-Mission Explorer, entering the service in 2380. Since then, these ships have more than proven themselves in combat and exploration alike. One notable vessel is the U.S.S. Aventine which served as a test bed for future ship advancements such as the Quantum Slipstream Drive. These vessels are quite powerful and equipped with the latest technology Starfleet has to offer.
Alternative Variants[edit | edit source]
||Named after the Vesta class vessel U.S.S. Aventine, the Aventine-class has a sharper saucer and its pylons are angled forward - these features give the ship a more sleek profile than the original Vesta. The Aventine class skin is unlocked with the purchase of the Multi-Mission Reconnaissance Explorer for 2500 .|
||The Rademaker-class is a loose hybrid between the Vesta and Aventine classes, sporting a more oval saucer and the largest nacelles. The shuttle bay launch area is wider and illuminated and appears to be covered by a force field. ||The Brigid-Class draws upon the technological advancements that came from the Vesta Class Multi-Mission Explorer's development. The Brigid class skin is unlocked with the purchase of the Brigid Multi-Mission Surveillance Explorer for 3000 .|

The Esquiline class skin is unlocked with the purchase of the Esquiline Multi-Mission Strategic Explorer for 3000 .|
||The Palatine-Class is a highly advanced Tactical centric Science Vessel that was built upon the Aventine's success at combating the Borg and a multitude of other hostile forces. The Palatine class skin is unlocked with the purchase of the Palatine Multi-Mission Reconnaissance Explorer for 3000 .|

The Multi-Mission Surveillance Explorer comes equipped with the Sympathetic Fermion Transceiver universal console, which is part of the Experimental Systems Set. Other consoles from this set can be equipped for set bonuses and additional abilities.
It can also equip consoles from the Alliance Multi-Mission Systems Set that comes with the tier 6 Multi-Mission Explorers.
Hangar Bay[edit | edit source]

Carrier Commands[edit source]
- Carrier Command - Attack
- Carrier Command - Escort
- Carrier Command - Intercept
- Carrier Command - Recall
Sensor Analysis[edit source]
Sensor Analysis is an active toggle ability. While maintaining a Sensor Lock on a target, the player gains a stacking effect that either improves the damage and power drain against an enemy, or improves any heal directed towards an ally. This effect stacks every 3 seconds, to a maximum of 6 stacks after 18 continuous seconds. To maintain the desired effect, the player must hold the sensor lock.
Subsystem Targeting[edit source]
The Multi-Mission Surveillance Explorer comes with built-in Subsystem Targeting abilities. These built-in abilities stay at Rank I and do not automatically rank up when acquiring higher tier Science starships. They are separate from Subsystem Targeting abilities gained through Tactical Space Bridge officer abilities.
- Target Auxiliary Subsystems I
- Target Weapons Subsystems I
- Target Engines Subsystems I
- Target Shields Subsystems I
Activating a subsystem targeting ability will upgrade all energy weapons to inflict a stacking power drain on the foe's targeted subsystem for the next 10 seconds. They will also have a small chance to knock the targeted subsystem offline for a short duration.
Other[edit | edit source]
The Multi-Mission Surveillance Explorer comes equipped with the unique [Aux Phaser Dual Heavy Cannons Mk XII]. Their damage is calculated using the ship's Auxiliary Power level instead of Weapon Power, and they consume Auxiliary Power when fired. It can be claimed multiple times, but they are limited to Vesta variants.
Standard Configuration[edit | edit source]
Federation starships come with standard equipment and weapons of the lowest mark available at the ship's minimum rank. The items provided are appropriate to the type of vessel and its related playing style.

- The Aventine class variant is based on the Star Trek: Voyager: Full Circle Esquiline & Quirinal Rademaker concept in which the pylons are swept forward.
- The Vesta class is the original finalized U.S.S. Aventine design used in the Star Trek: Destiny novels translated to Star Trek Online.
