Disambig icon.png This article is about playable starship. For NPC vessel, see Mogai Heavy Warbird (Mob).

The Mogai-class Heavy Warbird is a Tier 3 (Level 20) Warbird which may be flown by Romulan Republic characters, as well as characters of any other faction.

Players can obtain this starship from any Ship and Shuttle Requisitions officer for 20,000 Refined dilithium icon.png.

This ship can also be obtained by Romulan Republic players for free upon reaching level 20 by using their free SRCF3.png Starship Requisition token.

Overview[edit | edit source]

The Mogai-class Heavy Warbird is a powerful vessel first utilized by the Romulan Star Empire towards the end of the 24th Century. In 2379, two vessels of this type assisted the U.S.S. Enterprise-E in the battle against the I.R.W. Scimitar in the Bassen Rift.

The Mogai class has an average turn rate and impulse speed, but carries more weapons than the Dhelan-class Warbird and has significantly increased hull strength.

Class variants

Class Information
Ship Variant - ROM - Mogai Heavy Warbird (T3).png
Mogai class
SKIN UNLOCK: Free
Made famous by its appearance in Star Trek: Nemesis, the Mogai class strongly resembles a falcon or other Bird-of-Prey. It boasts a massive wingspan with feather patterns along their length, extremely pointed warp nacelles and a "beak"-like command section.
Ship Variant - ROM - Valdore Heavy Warbird (T3).png
Valdore class

A refit of the Mogai class, the Valdore class has a noticeably more curved and armored appearance, with a less broad wingspan, a different feather pattern on the wings and more prominent Warp nacelles.
Ship Variant - ROM - Morrigu Heavy Warbird (T6).png
Morrigu class
SKIN UNLOCK: Morrigu Heavy Warbird, 3,000 Zen small icon.png
The Morrigu class was developed by the Romulan Republic in 2410. Similar to the Valdore, The Morrigu has a less broad wingspan than the Mogai, but features a thinner neck. Deployed in the middle of the Iconian War, its head and wing section are also more heavily armored.

Abilities[edit | edit source]

Universal consoles[edit | edit source]

The Mogai Heavy Warbird doesn't come equipped with any universal consoles.

However, it can equip [Console - Universal - Shield Absorptive Frequency Generator] and [Console - Universal - Ionized Particle Beam] which form the Enhanced Weapon Systems Efficiency Set. These consoles are obtainable with Valdore Heavy Warbird (T3) and Mogai Heavy Warbird Retrofit (T5). For each console added after the first, an additional passive bonus is unlocked.

Despite being a Mogai variant, Morrigu Heavy Warbird (T6)'s [Console - Universal - Ablative Hazard Shielding] cannot be equipped on this vessel.

Battle Cloak

The Mogai Heavy Warbird has a battle cloak that allows the ship to cloak during combat, granting stealth and a damage bonus upon decloaking.

Singularity[edit | edit source]

Romulan Warbirds come with built-in Singularity abilities. These abilities do not automatically rank up when acquiring higher tier Warbirds. These powers build in severity based on the charge built up by the ship's Singularity Core.

Standard configuration[edit | edit source]

Romulan starships come with standard equipment and weapons of the lowest mark available at the ship's minimum rank. The items provided are appropriate to the type of vessel and its related playing style.
