Tide of Ice is a scheduled Open Mission in Q's Winter Wonderland. As of the 2017 Winter Event, this mission runs once every 90 minutes.
Once every 20 hours, the player receives an Account-shared 1 x Daily Event Progress upon completion. When you collect a total 20 of these across your whole Account, you can claim Q's Winter Wonderland Event Grand Prize from your Mission Journal on all characters on your Account.

In "Tide of Ice" players must protect the Ice Fortress in Q's Winter Wonderland as Assimilated Snowmen come down 4 lanes - Black Diamond, Crimson Cube, Gold Sphere, and Blue Lozenge. As of the 2017 Winter Event, this mission runs once every 90 minutes.

Tactics and Strategies[ | ]
- When part of a small instance (typically less than 10 players), the enemies will only spawn in Crimson Cube and Gold Sphere lanes for the first five waves, before switching over to the flanks of Blue Lozenge and Black Diamond for waves six through nine.
- On heavily populated instances, all four lanes will spawn enemies starting with the first wave. Teams of two can keep them at bay in the heads of the canyons when properly equipped, but more players do make the task easier, especially when they lack the snowball mortar and/or turret.
- ALL instances will spawn flanking enemies starting with Wave Six, appearing near the lower bridges of Blue Lozenge and Black Diamond lanes. It is strongly advised that you dispatch at least two players to each side to keep these enemies from escaping.

- ["Hail"] (for tackling strays and leakers, and for taking out smaller clusters. at medium range)
- ["Flurry"] (for tackling strays and leakers, and for taking out smaller clusters. at longer range)
- ["Freezing Mist"] (Strikes a good balance between the Snowblower and Hail weapons)
- [Q's Ornament: Snowball Mortar] (Placed on ridges or bridges to maximize firing range)
- [Q's Ornament: Snowball Turret] (Best placed near the Icicle Towers to help stem the tide of Assimilated Snowman)
