Mission: The Next Generation: 30th Anniversary was a special event which ran from September 29 - October 5, 2017.

Celebrate the 30th Anniversary of Star Trek: The Next Generation and unlock free, special costume options for your characters. Players can visit the holodeck at Starfleet Academy or the Klingon Academy and to talk the holographic representation of young Worf.

Despite the September 28, 2017 Patch Notes stating that "Romulan players cannot claim these rewards," Romulan Republic players can complete this mission. The costume pieces cannot be used on Romulan faction player characters or Bridge officers, but can be used on bridge officers from the player's allied faction.
During the same week this mission was available, a giveaway was held in which players could claim a "Skant" uniform and a Type-7 Shuttlecraft from the Zen Store, later on October 4th 2017 ( The launch of season 14) players who claimed the "Skant" uniforms gained access to the kilt and belt originally worn by Scotty in The Original Series. This was to commemorate the launch of the Miracle worker specialization, as Scotty is one of the most well-known "Miracle workers"
