In Omega Molecule Stabilization the player is tasked with Stabilizing Omega molecules which Q has scattered throughout the galaxy.

Synopsis[edit | edit source]

In each of three locations shown in the mission tracker, the player must find and Stabilize an Omega Molecule by playing an Omega Stabilization Mini-game to receive Daily Event Progress during a Star Trek Online Anniversary Event.

Playing the Mini-game will also award special Research and Development components which can be used to create [Omega Particle Tech Upgrade].

Mission Text[edit | edit source]

You minor races get so worked up about the silliest things ...

Omega Particles, for example. Simple little molecules, and all the races of the galaxy go collectively insane whenever one makes an appearance. It seems that you all feel a desire to go out and stabilize these particles in order to prevent some sort of disaster... or something.

Fine. If that's what you want, I'll help you. I've created dozens, no, hundreds of Omega particles. And I put them in your most social areas!

Go! Clean them up, if that's what you're so eager to do. Just don't expect me to help you.

Goal[edit | edit source]

Clean up an Omega particle in each of the zones listed in your Mission Log.
You may complete this mission once per day.

Objectives[edit | edit source]

There are three locations for each mission to visit, always including one [Red Omega Trace], one [Blue Omega Trace], and one [Yellow Omega Trace] location from the list below.

Federation[edit | edit source]

Notes[edit | edit source]

  • This daily mission is only available during the Anniversary Event.
  • The mission description typically lists four locations; three must be completed in order to complete the mission.
  • The listed locations appear to change on a four hour cycle, starting at dilithium refining time (midnight GMT).
  • Red traces can also be found on the Romulan Flotilla (Romulan faction only).
  • Scoring is as follows:
    • 5-840 = 1 colored trace (blue, red, yellow)
    • 860-1300 = 2 colored traces
    • 1350-1650 = 3 colored traces
    • 1700+ = 1x colored trace + 1x better item (Silver, Shard, Fragment)
    • 2000+ = 2x colored traces + 1-2x better items
    • 2700 = maximum score
  • In 2016 (5 Year Anniversary Event), the Anniversary Qmendation icon.png Anniversary Qmendation were retired and replaced with the Anniversary Prize Vouchers. Before being discontinued, they were used to obtain a Kobali Samsar Cruiser by completing the "Collect 2015 Anniversary Event Rewards" event Reputation project.
  • In 2019 (9 Year Anniversary Event), the mission was initially broken on console in the context that, on the second day of the event when the mission was acquired, fewer than the three locations required to complete the mission were listed in the description. No player-based troubleshooting yielded results. The issue appeared to have been resolved by the patch implemented on 3/12.
  • Every anniversary a new Party Popper is introduced - see the list of the ones previously available.
