Enter the Icari System in the Teneebia Sector of the Alpha Centauri Sector Block to begin. Upon entering the system, your vessel is hailed by a representative of the Icarian government.

Planetary sensors have detected asteroids of an unknown substance in our orbit. We believe they drifted here from another system.
We do not have the resources required to identify or deal with the asteroids, and we are concerned that their orbit will deteriorate and they could fall to the surface. Would you please study the asteroids and determine their origin and if there is any threat to us?
At this point you acquire the mission “Icari System Patrol”.

Proceed to the first large, spherical asteroid and scan it. You will discover the nature of the "unknown substance".
Science Officer:
<rank>, the debris is wreckage from a Federation ship, the U.S.S Fleming. The Fleming was lost in 2387, sir, after the destruction of the Romulan homworld.
I don't know why the wreckage wasn't recovered, sir, but that was an extremely chaotic time in Romulan space. Perhaps the final location of the Fleming was ...forgotten?
Recommend that we scan the wreckage in more detail. I'm sure Starfleet would want to know more about the final fate of the Fleming.

Proceed to the next two asteroids and scan them, and you will learn a bit more about the fate of the U.S.S. Fleming.
Science Officer:
Sir, the U.S.S. Fleming was part of a convoy of medical ships dispatched to provide aid and assistance to the Romulans after the Hobus supernova. It was attacked by the Romulan miner Nero and his ship, the Narada.
It looks like the Fleming managed to launch escape pods, and there were some survivors, sir. But the ship was unprepared for an assault and it just couldn't take the amount of damage that the Narada was dishing out, sir. I don't know of any ship that could.

Scan the final two asteroids to complete the mission.
Tactical Officer:
I've notified the Icarian ruling council about the origin of the debris, and stabilized its orbit until a Starfleet recovery crew can be dispatched.
I'm glad we encountered the Fleming, sir. No Starfleet ship or crew should be forgotten out here. It will be a comfort to the friends and family of the fallen to know that they've been found at last.
