Lukari Ho'kuun Science Vessel
The Lukari Ho'kuun Science Vessel is a Rear Admiral (Tier 6) Science Vessel, available to players of all factions. On PC, you could exchange it for 1000 7th Anniversary Prize Vouchers during the 7 Year Anniversary Event between 26 January and 24 February 2017. On Console, it was given away for free between 6 March and 13 March 2018 as part of the 8 Year Anniversary Event.
Overview[edit | edit source]
The Ho'kuun-class is the first warp capable starship that is entirely of Lukari design. Lukari engineers took what they learned from the Alliance's starships and applied it to build something truly unique. The Ho'kuun is a highly agile starship that is specialized in providing support to allied starships.
The Lukari Ho'kuun Science Vessel comes equipped with a [Console - Universal - Protomatter Field Projector]. Starships equipped with this console are capable of emitting a Protomatter Field, centered on them, for a short time. Allies that enter this field will have their hull and shield regeneration rates dramatically increased as long as they remain within its area.
Opening the Lukari Ho'kuun Science Vessel requisition pack also rewards [Braydon Reconnaissance Warp Core], and a [Braydon Reconnaissance Singularity Core] if the player is a member of the Romulan Republic. Both the Singularity Core and the Warp Core are part of the Braydon Reconnaissance Technologies Set.

Abilities[edit | edit source]
Subsystem Targeting[edit source]
The Lukari Ho'kuun Science Vessel comes with built-in Subsystem Targeting abilities. These built-in abilities stay at Rank I and do not automatically rank up when acquiring higher tier Science starships. They are separate from Subsystem Targeting abilities gained through Tactical Space Bridge officer abilities.
- Target Auxiliary Subsystems I
- Target Weapons Subsystems I
- Target Engines Subsystems I
- Target Shields Subsystems I
Activating a subsystem targeting ability will upgrade all energy weapons to inflict a stacking power drain on the foe's targeted subsystem for the next 10 seconds. They will also have a small chance to knock the targeted subsystem offline for a short duration.
Sensor Analysis[edit source]
Sensor Analysis is an active toggle ability. While maintaining a Sensor Lock on a target, the player gains a stacking effect that either improves the damage and power drain against an enemy, or improves any heal directed towards an ally. This effect stacks every 3 seconds, to a maximum of 6 stacks after 18 continuous seconds. To maintain the desired effect, the player must hold the sensor lock.
Specialization Seating[edit | edit source]
The Lukari Ho'kuun Science Vessel features one specialist seat: Lieutenant Commander Engineering/Intelligence bridge officer station
Standard Configuration[edit | edit source]
Federation starships come with standard equipment and weapons of the lowest mark available at the ship's minimum rank. The items provided are appropriate to the type of vessel and its related playing style.
