The Khitomer Emergency Medical Hologram is the EMH of the U.S.S. Khitomer. As many of its kind, the EMH is patronizing and overconfident.
Missions involved
“Communication Breakdown”: After a surprise attack by the Borg in the Pollux System, its EMH is the only one able to respond on the U.S.S. Khitomer. Together with U.S.S. Chimera and U.S.S. Voyager, the player has to subsequently protect the disabled Khitomer.
Notes
- The voice-over for the Khitomer Emergency Medical Hologram is provided by Zachary Quinto, who played Spock in the 2009 movie Star Trek. This is probably also the reason why the character model has pointed ears.
- When the Odyssey uniform became the new Starfleet standard with the release of Season 9.5, the Khitomer EMH received Lieutenant Commander rank pips. No other EMH in the game or in the shows ever received any rank insignia.
- The EMH was originally involved in most missions of the original Federation Tutorial, that was replaced on November 12, 2013 with the new Tutorial introduced with Season Eight: The Sphere. This included the removed missions “Khitomer Crisis”, “The Price of Liberty”, “Assimilation”, and “Line in the Sand”, as well as the beginning of the now completely redesigned mission “Welcome to Earth Spacedock”.
