Kelvin T'laru Intel Carrier Warbird
The Kelvin T'laru-class Intel Carrier Warbird is a Tier 6 Carrier Warbird which may be flown by Romulan Republic characters. This starship can be used from any level upon completion of the tutorial experience. As you level up, this ship gains additional hull, weapon slots, and console slots.
Players can obtain this starship from the [Infinity Lock Box]; it comes in an [Infinity Prize Pack - T6 Ship] choice package, which is bound to you until a ship is chosen. It can also drop from the older [Kelvin Timeline Lock Box]. The boxed ship is not bound and so may be traded to other players or bought and sold on the Exchange for energy credits under the name [Special Requisition Pack - Kelvin Timeline T'laru Intel Carrier Warbird [T6]], as well as under [Special Requisition Pack - Kelvin Timeline Starship [T6]] and [Special Requisition Pack - Kelvin Divergence Lockbox Ship Pack]. The choice box's contents depend on the player's faction; Romulan Republic players will receive the Kelvin T'laru Intel Carrier Warbird when opening it.

Overview[edit | edit source]
In the midst of the confrontations currently raging across multiple eras in the primary timeline, there have also been incidents of incursions into entirely alternate realities. One such breach has resulted in many artifacts and technological oddities from another timeline getting pulled into our own. A closer examination of this timeline reveals that it is a divergent reality that split from our own as a result of a confrontation in the 23rd Century, between an unknown Romulan vessel that had been displaced from the time stream, and a Federation starship - the U.S.S. Kelvin. As a result of this temporal incursion, the entire timeline that followed those events has come to be called the "Kelvin Timeline."
Examination of the time-lost salvage taken from the Kelvin Timeline reveals that the Federation of that reality had a decidedly higher emphasis on military technologies, likely as a direct result of their overwhelming defeat at the hands of the alien vessel that invaded their space in the 23rd Century. The same has shown to be true of the Klingon and Romulan ships of that time. This emphasis on cutting-edge technology allows their starships and equipment to be comparable to starships of the early 25th Century Prime Universe, despite technically being hundreds of years old. A small group of industrious scientists have taken it upon themselves to replicate these designs, and distribute them throughout the modern era.
A versatile Warbird designed to serve as a Space Control ship, the T'laru-class Intel Carrier Warbird is not to be taken lightly. Outfitted for reconnaissance and striking deep behind enemy lines, the T'laru class is agile for a ship of its size and carries a complement of Scorpion Fighters and an array of tactical defense systems.

Designed by the Romulans of the Kelvin Timeline, the T'laru class is unlike any other Prime universe Warbird. Still, classic Romulan aesthetic is visible in the elongated Mogai-like nacelles, feathered pattern on the ship's wings and the empty internal space which reminds of the D'deridex class.

Universal consoles[edit | edit source]
The Kelvin T'laru Intel Carrier Warbird comes equipped with the [Console - Universal - Mining Drill Laser Emitter].
This ability is part of the Alternate Timeline Set, which also includes [Console - Universal - Auxiliary Ejection Assembly] and [Console - Universal - Proton Charge Launcher], obtainable from the [Console Pack - Auxiliary Ejector Assembly / Proton Charge Launcher (Romulan)], and [Console - Universal - Broadside Emitter Arrays], obtainable from the Lobi Crystal Consortium Store, but also equippable on the Kelvin T'laru Intel Carrier Warbird. For each console added after the first, an additional passive bonus is unlocked.
The Kelvin T'laru-class Intel Carrier Warbird features the following specialist seats:
Active Sensor Arrays
As an Intelligence starship, the Kelvin T'laru Intel Carrier Warbird is capable of deploying an Intel sensor drone with the Gather Intelligence ability.
While the target is Vulnerable, one of three Expose Vulnerability abilities can be used. These powerful abilities find a critical weakness in the targeted foe and allow players to briefly exploit it.
- Expose Vulnerability: Critical Systems
- Expose Vulnerability: Defenses
- Expose Vulnerability: Weapon Systems
Intelligence vessels also have a built-in passive ability which renders them undetectable at long range.
The Kelvin T'laru Intel Carrier Warbird has a battle cloak that allows the ship to cloak during combat, granting stealth and a damage bonus upon decloaking.
Hangar bays[edit | edit source]
The Kelvin T'laru Intel Carrier Warbird comes equipped with two wings of Kelvin Timeline Scorpion Fighters.
The Kelvin T'laru Intel Carrier Warbird can also equip Romulan Drone Ships if the player owns any of the Dreadnought Warbird variants.
Carrier commands[edit source]
- Carrier Command - Attack
- Carrier Command - Escort
- Carrier Command - Intercept
- Carrier Command - Recall
Romulan Warbirds come with built-in Singularity abilities. These abilities do not automatically rank up when acquiring higher tier Warbirds. These powers build in severity based on the charge built up by the ship's Singularity Core.
Standard configuration[edit | edit source]
Romulan starships come with standard equipment and weapons of the lowest mark available at the ship's minimum rank. The items provided are appropriate to the type of vessel and its related playing style.
This starship's equipment slots, base hull capacity and shield capacity scale as your level increases.
Equipment slots and seating[edit source]
As you rank up every 10 levels, up to level 40, the ship's forward weapon slots, aft weapon slots, tactical console slots, engineering console slots, science console slots and available bridge officer (boff) abilities will slowly increase toward endgame capabilities:
|0-9||2||1||2||2||1||16px 16px 16px 16px 16px|
|10-19||2||2||2||3||1||16px 16px 16px 16px|

|30-39||3||3||3||4||2||16px 16px 16px 16px 16px|
Hull strength[edit source]
This table shows how the ship's hull strength scales at each level. The base hull of all scaling starships is 10,000, which is then multiplied by the ship's hull modifier (1.3 for the Kelvin T'laru Intel Carrier Warbird), and then multiplied by the scaling multiplier below at each level.
