Kassae II is the second planet in the Kassae System of the Kassae Sector and site of a Federation research station.

The Federation Science Council established an Archaeological Research Station on the surface after the discovery of the ruins of an unknown civilization by the U.S.S. Stargazer. Evidence suggests that the inhabitants of Kassae II had contact with interstellar travelers over 15,000 years ago. Due to the high concentration of metreon isotopes in the system, a communications array is in close orbit of Kassae II.
Missions involved[ | ]
- “Researcher Rescue”: After losing contact with the Archaeological Research Station, the player has to investigate and subsequently defend the station and its scientists against a Gorn ambush.
