Chief Operations Officer
Lieutenant Jirelle Kav is the Betazoid Chief Operations Officer aboard the U.S.S. Enterprise-F.
Details[ | ]
The player meets Jirelle Kav after the evacuation of Deep Space Nine on Bajor, where she helps to bring the Starfleet operation up to speed. Later she becomes Captain Shon's Chief Operations Officer on the U.S.S. Enterprise-F.
History[ | ]
- As a child, Kav never thought about leaving Betazed or joining Starfleet.
- When she was 17, her parents and younger brother died in a shuttle crash and she decided to make the most out of her life by helping others.
- During the first six weeks at Starfleet Academy she considered leaving several times but ultimately stayed.
- Kav went on the Operations track because it was the fastest way to get a starship assignment.
- Her first tour of duty was aboard the U.S.S. Obsidian. Before the Jem'Hadar attacked Deep Space Nine, she was going to join the U.S.S. Tempest.
Missions involved[ | ]
- “Of Bajor”: Lieutenant Kav is the mission giver for a number of the mini missions within this larger mission.
- “First Contact Day”: The player visits the bridge of the Enterprise at Utopia Planitia and meets with Jirelle Kav and the rest of her crew.
Other involvement[ | ]
- In Tales of the War #13, Lieutenant Kav is in command of the Enterprise during the night shift when she receives a distress call from a freighter, which has been attacked by the Heralds.
Notes[ | ]
- A non-interactable version of Jirelle occasionally spawns in Earth Spacedock's Club 47, where she stands in the Lounge overlooking Earth, sometimes with other members of the Enterprise crew.
- When Of Bajor was first released, she was stated to be an ensign although her displayed rank insignia was clearly a lieutenant. Her rank is now stated to be a Lieutenant.
