The House of J'mpok is one of the Great Houses in the Klingon Empire. J'mpok, the leader of the House, was the Chancellor until his demise in 2411 at the hands of J'Ula, with L'Rell assuming Chancellorship afterwards.
History[ | ]
- 2391
- Ship captains loyal to the House of J'mpok formed a fleet and invaded the Zeta Pictoris System, battling a Romulan fleet defending the system.
- 2393
- J'mpok defeats and kills Martok in ritual combat to become Chancellor of the Empire.
- 2397:
- The House of J'mpok is formally allied with the House of Duras after Ja'rod, son of Lursa and nephew of Duras, takes his place as head of his House.
- 2399:
- Chancellor J'mpok officially declares war between the Klingon Empire and the Gorn Hegemony
- 2409:
- Rumors begin circulating that the ties between the Houses of J'mpok and Duras do not bind as tightly as they once did.
- Members of the House take part in a bat'leth tournament on Forcas III.
- 2411
- J'Ula of House Mo'kai calls for a meeting with the High Council in the Great Hall, calling out J'mpok's dishonorable deeds such as stealing the Chancellorship from Martok, whose death was faked due to the actions of Torg, as well as not participating in the battle against the Hur'q, leading to a new Civil War.
- Aakar of House Mo'kai betrays J'Ula and forms an Alliance with J'mpok, who launches a mycelial weapon on Khitomer, killing numerous delegates following a slaughter led by Ja'rod against its civillians. J'mpok accuses an Alliance Captain, Martok, J'Ula and Adet'pa for the crime and labels them enemies of the Empire.
- The evidence of J'mpok's attack on Khitomer is broadcasted in the Gorath System by Louann Wilkins, resulting in the Great Houses losing trust in the Empire and returning to their own homes. J'mpok dismisses the High Council and proclaims himself 'Emperor'.
- L'Rell is reborn following a trip to Gre'thor, and the final battle of Qo'noS takes place. J'Ula duels and defeats J'mpok, but before he could make good on his threat to detonate a hydro bomb, L'Rell slices his hand off with the Sword of Kahless, allowing J'Ula to finish him off. J'Ula passes the Chancellorship to L'Rell and takes the position of her torchbearer moving forward.
