The Hotep System is a system located in the Hotep Sector of the Beta Quadrant.
System Description
Hotep IV was settled in the late 2370s by a group of former Federation citizens who were forced out of their homes when their planet was ceded to the Cardassian Union. The settlers rejected Federation offers of resettlement, opting instead to move far away from major populated systems and what they saw as undue interference in their affairs.
Notes
- Originally “Collateral Damage” took place in the Hotep System. Replaced by the revamped version “A Gathering Darkness”, the original mission has been removed from game with the release of Season Nine: A New Accord on 22nd April 2014. Since then the Hotep System solely acts as a door to user-generated missions.
