The Chronometric Capacitor is the result of studies into weaponizing chronometric particles. This console provides a blend of tactical and science support to ships when equipped, enhancing weapon power levels, polaron and torpedo damage, and increasing your Particle Generators skill.

This item is freely upgradable to Mark XII. Further upgrades require Technology Points and Dilithium as normal.

Game Description[edit | edit source]

Torpedo launchers fire projectiles that deal heavy kinetic damage. Shields drastically reduce the effects of kinetic damage. Chroniton projectiles deal average damage with a long recharge and have a chance to slow the target.

Krenim Chroniton Torpedoes incorporate the Krenim's vast experience working with temporal mechanics to produce a highly dangerous projectile. In addition to the standard Chroniton effects, these torpedoes can phase out of time as they're impacting an enemy, completely bypassing the shield.

Beam Arrays are the most common and versatile weapons available. They fire a series of average damage beams across a wide arc. Beam weapons are equally effective against starship shields and hull.

Chronometric Polaron weaponry is a direct result of experiments into weaponizing Chronometric particles. using the Krenim's chroniton weapons research as a springboard. These weapons function by suspending Chronometric particle within a polaron energy discharge, using the discharge to guide the particle to their intended target. The particle will occasionally feed back into your weapons systems, increasing the shield penetration of your energy weapons for a short time.

This item is freely upgradable to Mark XII. Further upgrades require Technology Points and Dilithium as normal.
