Torg's stronghold

The Gorath System is a system located in the Gorath Sector of the Beta Quadrant.

It is the site of a PvP ground arena and was the location of a stronghold of the House of Torg until its dissolution in 2409.

System Description[edit | edit source]

Gorath is a binary star system with a marginally-hospitable world. Although survival is possible on Gorath, it is made difficult by the preponderance of dangerous chemicals, such as sulfur and chlorine. Klingon Houses routinely use Gorath both for training and for battle over the exotic materials that sometimes form in the planet's harsh geosphere.

Missions Involved[edit | edit source]

  • KDF “The House Always Wins”: The player tracks down Torg to his house's stronghold in the Gorath System. After fighting Torg's forces in orbit, Worf, Alexander and the player beam down. Although his son S'gen is killed by the raiding party, Torg can escape to Qo'noS.
  • ALL “Partisans”: Adet'pa discovered the evidence needed to clear the accusations of the Khitomer attack in the Gorath System, now belonging to Klingon Imperial forces after the defeat of the House of Torg. The player, Martok, Adet'pa and Varh first assists J'Ula who has engaged J'mpok's forces. They then beam down to the arena and engage J'mpok's forces while Wilkins hacks the various computer codes. They are then confronted by Aakar and his forces, where Aakar flees while his forces are defeated. Finally, they defend the I.K.S. Lukara against J'mpok's flagship, the I.K.S. Kri’stak, and his forces while Wilkins works on broadcasting the evidence. Despite clearing their names and everyone in the system learning the truth about J'mpok's attack on Khitomer, the mission ends with the various Klingon Houses losing trust of the Empire, warping out of the system and returning to their own homes.

Apocrypha[edit | edit source]
