The Gateway System is a system located in the Khitomer Sector of the Beta Quadrant. The system hosts the planet "Gateway", which is home to the Guardian of Forever.

An ancient world littered with the remains of a vast city more than 2,000 km in diameter. The ruins appear to be more than one million years old, although there is evidence that suggests that the civilization on the world was much older.
